There's a Way to Keep Curtains Clean Maybe your cleaner can accept your curtains and maybe he can't. The latter is more likely, if they are fancy.

In any event, you can save on curtain-cleaning bills by exercising care. Alternate your curtains to expose them evenly to sunlight, which weakens the fabrics. Also, don't let them blow through your windows or rub against the screens. And, remember, frequent hand brushing of heavy drapes will help keep them clean.
