They greeted each other at the Band Shell in Central Park yesterday, much to the delight of a group of moppets (photo below). The puppets are making a film, "The Muppets Take Manhattan," which is currently shooting in the park. The mayor has been offered a role, and he would be box office for sure. With his mobile face, he would be a natural with the gang of crazies created by Jim Henson and Frank Oz. The ceremonies proclaimed a "Special Summer Salute to Motion Picture and Television Production in New York City.".
