Wade fared better than running back Ken Starch and receiver Bob Gaddis. Examination of his damaged ankle showed no break, but Starch was expected to be placed on the injury list John O'Leary may come off it to replace him. Defensive back Vernon Perry, out of action since the final exhibition game with a broken right arm, is expected to be activated for the Alouettes' game Sunday at Regina against Saskatchewan Roughrid-ers. Ike Thomas, a veteran defensive back released last week by Toronto Argonauts, has Joined Hamilton Tiger-Cats and Is looking forward to the two remaining CFL games between the two arch rivals. "Do I look forward to playing against Toronto?" said Thomas. "You know the answer to that" Thomas is one of several Argo castoffs to join the Ticats this season and he's found a better atmosphere in the Hamilton camp than in Toronto where a seven-game losing streak has made life miserable. "There is a different atmosphere here," said Thomas. "You don't feel the pressure like you do in Toronto. Thomas, six-foot-two and 104 pounds, played Ave seasons in the National&oot-ball League and the defunct World FootbttlJ League before Joining Toronto last season. In Toronto, the Argonauts cut four players, including veteran wide receiver Terry Evanshen, and activated three others on Tuesday. Also cut were import linebacker Anthony Dickerson, non-import defensive back Dan Bovair and import offensive guard Ralph Hill. Quarterback Rodney Allison was placed on the Injured list. Toronto activated Wayne Allison, former Argo defensive back released last week by Winnipeg Blue Bombers; import offensive tackle Ira Watley from San Diego State, also released by Winnipeg and University of Toronto graduate Tim Allen, an offensive tackle also released by Winnipeg.
