A-4-ESCAL0N TIMES, Wednedcy, Oct. 2. 1985 Weddings Carla Wild-Kevin Kennedie it Carla Cheri Wild and Kevin Eugene Kennedie, both of Escalon, were wed on May 25, during afternoon ceremonies at the First Assembly of God Church in this city. The double-ring rites were performed by Pastor Perry J. McGaffee of Valley Christian Center.

The bride's father gave her hand in marriage! She is the daughter of Richard and Sandra Wild of Escalon. Darrell and Jane Mullin of Escalon are the groom's parents. The bridal gown was white satin, enhanced with seed pearls. Her attire was completed with a long white veil, accented with seed pearls and lace trim. The bride carried a bouquet of multi-colored silk The new bride attended Escalon High School.

She was involved with Escalon Sw im Team for three years, the local Rainbow Girls, trap and pistol shooting, and various other sports. She is presently employed at Danny Boys in Modesto. Cherylynn Amber Johnson of Escalon was the flower girl. She wore a long lavendar gown, similar to the bridal attendants', and carried a basket containing verigated rose petals. The mother of the bride was attired in a long lavendar gown, and she carried a brightly colored fart. The groom's mother wore a long baby blue gown. The bride attended Escalon schools; and held a term as Worthy Advisor Rainbow Girls, Stockton Assembly 9. She is currently employed at Gallo Winery as a sales forcaster.

Her groom attended Oakdale Schools; and par also of Modesto; and Greg Burris, a friend of the groom's from Denair. Decorations carried throughout the church for ceremonies were, Brass candelabras, an arch enhanced with white and lavender mums, brass flowerstands, accented with white gladiolas and lavender carnations, and white wicker baskets filled with hite and lavender silk flowers in a cascade arrangement, and her grandmother's hankerchief. Audrey Johnson of Escalon, who is the bride's sister, was the matron of honor. She wore a long blue gown, and her bouquet was composed of verigated silk flowers. The bridesmaids were Anita Boganin; Lisa Arnett; Debbie Enos Bonet-ti; Dee Anna Kennedie, sister of the groom; Penny Bader; Teddy Rae Wild, sister of the bride; and Maria Scarborough.

They were attired in lavendar gowns, completed with silk flowered wreaths worn in their hair. They carried flowered fans, designed and fashioned by Murial Bedoy, a sister-in-law of the bride. The mother of the bride Mr. and Mrs. Kevin Kennedie cvk. ticipated in wrestling at Modesto Junior College, San Jose and CaJ State at Bakersfield. He is an employee of Gallo Winery.

Since returning from their honeymooon, the couple has made their home in Waterford. For her going-away costume, the bride wore a dress featuring a white lace skirt and a heart lined neckline. The groom's mother wore a purple rose patterned brocade gown, enhanced with a ruffled neckline. Organist for the ceremonies was Mrs. Mildred Downing of Escalon. Soloist was the Rev. John Short of Escalon, who sang Lance Fields, the groom's nephew of Modesto, and Alan Bartels, a cousin of the bride's and from Ripon, were the candlelighters. Zachery Turner, another of the groom's nephews, from Modesto, was the ring bearer.

The flower girl was Alicia Bartels of Ripon, who is the bride's cousin. Dennis Drake, a friend of the groom, from Ceres, served as best man. The bridesmaids were Dana Casey, sister of the groom, Julie Cannon, Laureen Johnson, and cascading train of ruffles. Her veil was a long hite chantilly lace edged pouf veil, with a satin ribbon bow, and headpiece of white silk roses, accented with small white and lavender silk flowers. For sentiment, she completed her costume with pearl errings, given by her aunt; and a baby ring, hich was her father's, carried in the bridal bouquet. The bridal bouquet was a cascade of white and lavender silk roses and purple pearl centered mini carnations. It was accented with angel lace and streamers of purple and lavender ribbons.

Maid of honor was a friend of the bride, Loretta Hof of Escalon.
