The one-year veteran coach of the Wildcats replaces Jim Hess who advanced to varsity assistant on offense for the Rice Owls. Earlier he had earned All-American honors as a halfback and sprinter for Kilgore Junior College, also serving as grid captain. Pony To Play Managers of the Pony Baseball League last week made known their All-Star selections, naming 20 players from the five league'tea ms. The league-leading Pirates placed six men on the team; the Braves, four; Cards, four; Giants, three, and the Indians, three. R. Lewis, ineligible due to an early season injury, was voted an honorary member of the team.

Members of the All-Star group are: All Pirates PIRATES- Allen, Foust, Mannefeld, Randolph, Reid, and Smithson. BRAVES- Harmon, Murley, (Jim), Spies, and Strain. CARDS- Creed, Rogers, Thomas and Voiers (Mike). GIANTS- Arb, Davis (Van), and Stiles. INDIANS- Reneau, Spearman and Wall.

Next Monday, July 29, the All-Stars will play the league winning Pirates. All-Stars who are members of the Pirates will play with their team. The game will start at about 8 p.m. at the A.R. Schell, Memorial Park.

Season Go Season tickets for the 1968 football season will go on sale Thursday, August 1 at the High School office. Last season ticket holders will have until 5:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 7 to purchase the same tickets again this year. The cost of tickets for the five home games will be $7.50. Also, reserve seats will sell for $1.75 unless bought for the season.

General admission tickets will sell for $1.50. Tickets for two out-of-town games (Bonham and McKinney) may be purchased with the season tickets. A season ticket holder may purchase the same number of tickets for these two games as season tickets purchased. According to district regulations these single game tickets must sell for $1.75 each.
