NEW CASTLE NEWS, THURSDAY, JANUARY 19.1978 Deaths of the day Anthony J. Perrotta Anthony J. Perrotta. 73. of 203 S.

First died at 11:35 p.m. Jan. 18. 1978, in St. Francis Hospital after an illness.

He was born in New Castle on March 22. 1904. to the late Luigi and Maria Marcucci Perrotta. He was retired from the Penn-Central Railroad and later from the Maintenence Department of the New Castle School District. Mr.

Perrotta was a member of St. Lucy Church; the St. Marguerite MB Society, and Council 74, Sons of Columbus in America. He is survived by his wife, the former Elizabeth Cepro, and four sons, Louis, Fred. Robert and Samuel, all of New Castle; a daughter Mrs.

Anthony (Patricia) Lepore of New Castle; three sisters. Mrs. William (Grace Harmon, Mrs. Karl (Margaret) Hempel, and Mrs. Edith Seman, all three of New Castle; a brother Charles of New Castle and 14 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers, Phillip, Frank and Domenick. Friends will be received at the Edward A. and Donald G. DeCarbo Funeral Home, S. Mill and E.

Lutton streets, from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9 a Saturday in St Lucy Church by the Rev Vincent Bertoline. The procession will leave the funeral home at 8:15 a.m. Saturday for the church in Mahoningtown.

Burial will follow the mass in St. Lucy Cemetery. Mrs. Mary A. Williams Mrs.

Mary Arninta Adami Williams, 93. of 427 Summit View Drive, died at her home at 12:15 a Jan 19, 1978. after an illness. She was born in Verona, Italy on Oct. 7.1884.

to the late Nestor and Anna Adami. Mrs. Williams was a member of St Mary Church Her husband Marco Williams died on May 11,1935. She is survived by two sons, John and Steve, both of New Castle, four daughters, Mrs David S. (Ann) Long, and Mrs.

Robert G. i Angie) Betts, both of New Castle, Mrs Gene (Erma) Bernardina and Mrs. Ralph (Helen) Flaugher. both of Pittsburgh; 13 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two daughters Miss Theresa and Miss Laura Elizabeth; three brothers and two sisters. Friends will be received at the Edward A and Donald DeCarbo Funeral Home.

He was born in Chicago on June 14, 1914, to the late James Seth and Lillian Danks Mayfield He had been employed by the New Castle Foundry as a core maker for the past 25 years. Mr. Mayfield was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church and Lodge 69, BPOE.

He is survived by his wife, the former Maxine L. Chileon and a son (Jerald E. of Garden Grove, two daughters, Mrs. Robert E. (Joan Montgomery of New Castle and Mrs.

Frederick (Patricia Kiefer of Jamestown, N.Y.; two sisters, Mrs. Marion (Beatrice) Kerr of Lake Alfred. and Mrs. Robert (Ellen) Griffin of Titusville; two brothers, Willard of Orlando, Fla. and John of Titusville, and 11 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a son Michael Rankin on Dec. 2, 1974 An open Memorial Service will be held at 10:45 a.m. Sunday in St. Lutheran Church, Highland Avenue, conducted by the Rev. Donald Cochran.

No calling hours are planned and private arrangements are by the J. Bradley McGonigle Memorial Home, W. Falls and N. Beaver streets. Samuel Zohosky WAMPUM Samuel Zohosky, 80.

of 425 Spring Ellwood City, the former owner and operator of Economy Chevrolet in Ellwood City, died at 6 a.m. Jan. 18,1978, in the Blair Nursing Home after a brief illness. He was born in Wayne Township on Feb. 26,1897.

to the late Joseph and Anna Biega Zohosky. He was in the automobile business for more than 50 years when he retired and closed the business. Mr. Zohosky was a member of St. Monica Church of Wampum.

His wife the former Agnes Rapp died in 1942. He is survived by a daughter Mrs. William M. (Audrey) Jones Jr. of New Castle; a brother Albert of Wampum RD and four grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by three sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth Skoczylas. Mrs. Josephine Frickanish and Mrs. Mary Gramsky.

Friends will be received at the Robert S. Marshall Funeral Home, Main Street, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10a.m. Saturday in Church by the Rev.

John Flaherty Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery in New Castle. William J. Wimer ELLWOOD CITY William Wimer, 51. of 622 Portersville Road died at 4 45 p.m.

Jan 18, 1978. in Ellwood City Hospital after a two-week illness. He was born in Ellwood City on July 20, 1926, to Harry (Shorty) and Gladys Schweingruber Wimer He retired in 1968 from the former Ellwood City Works of the U.S. Steel Corp. where he was employed in the hot mill Mr Wimer was a member of Wurtemburg United Methodist Church; Ellwood-Wampum Rod and Gun Club; Lodge 93, Loyal Order of the Moose; Post 252.

Veterans of Foreign Wars, as a veteran of the U.S. Navv in World Warll He is survived by his parents. Mr and Mrs. Wimer with whom he lived; a sister Mrs. M.

(Frances) Johnson of Erie; a brother LaVern of Dayton. Ohio He was preceded in death by a sister. Mrs Bernzetta Koscho in 1972. Friends will be received at the Kenneth Turner Funeral Home, 500 Sixth from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 Friday. She is survived by a daughter Mrs. Elizabeth Toth of Fenton; two stepchildren, Frank Toth and James G. Toth, both of Warren, Ohio; two stepdaughters, Mrs. Edward Dolsak of McDonald, Ohio, and Mrs. George Cera of Niles, Ohio; a grandson; and a number of nieces and nephews.
