He was born in Barry's Bay, Ont.

61 years ago, the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Frank H. Coulas, lived most of his life in Ottawa and was employed by the Armed Forces Legal Branch for National Defence; served overseas with the K.C.A.S.C. from 1910-1945 and was a member of the senior officers Navy Mess in Ottawa; he was a member of the Resurrection Church, Saunderson Ottawa.

He is survived by his wife the former Catherine Elizabeth (Kay) Egan; one daughter Mrs. Terry (Joyce) of Stratford; four brothers, Frank of Ottawa, Mel of Klver, Arthur of Pembroke and David of Brampton; two sisters. Miss Florence Coulas of Ottawa and Mrs. Jack (Audrey) Curtin of Lindsay and one granddaughter Karen Cremin. Resting at the Heinbuck Funeral Home, 156 Albert Stratford.
