A Announcements nts July Calgary 24, B15 Monday 2000 Herald Deaths 860 Deaths 860 Deaths The Calgary Herald notes the following deaths in today's paper. New notices are marked by an Beairsto Boutland Farney McConnell Gain Moran Ryan Williamson 212508 BEAIRSTO Erma May (Underdahl) Beairsto Prairie-born in Manyberries, Alberta on April 3, 1919, Erma. enjoyed a life of friendship, laughter and contentment but had to leave this world, after a long walk with cancer, on July 21, 2000. She was the second of six children and leaves younger sisters, Grace and Mable. Aside from nursing, she chose to spend her life as a minister's lively wife and as a mother.

Everywhere she and her husband Russel went, people were drawn to her exuberance and sense of humour. As a friend and parent, she was patient, pragmatic, giving and forgiving. She shared time with her grandchildren doing such things as playing cards and making rosettes. We already miss her jokes and laughter. Russel and her children, Bruce (Brenda), Susan, Rob (Jayne), Lorna and Alan (Tracy), suggest a fitting tribute would be a donation to the Cancer Society, Salvation Army, United Church or other worthwhile cause, or simply a good turn done for someone in need.

A Memorial Service will be held at Southiminster United Church (3818 -14A Street S.W.), on Tuesday, July 25 at 1:30 p.m. -163845 BOUTLAND Ruby Alberta Boutland of High River, formerly of Calgary, passed away suddenly at her residence on July 21, 2000 at the age of 84 years.
