(AP) Chief Justice Harold R. Fatzer of the Kansas Supreme Court called today on the lawyers of the state to support new policies for disciplining the legal profession. "We are feeling our way with these new policies relating to discipline and earnestly ask each of you to support the court in this endeavor," Fatzer said. His remarks were in a "State of the Judiciary" address prepared for the 91st annual meet- Bar Association." The court recently adopted new rules for the program of discipline, including an annual registration fee for lawyers to finance the program. The new rules also provide for appointment of a disciplinary administrator.

Fatzer said the $20 registration fee fixed by the court for the first year is based on best estimates of the amount needed to implement the program. He said the annual fee may have to be revised from time to time, as experience dictates. Fatzer said the revised rules do not infringe upon the investigative power and responsibility of those local car associations which are willing and able to assume them. Fatzer called for full cooperation from the judges and the lawyers of the state in a study of the court system designed to aid in implementing the new judicial article approved by the state's voters last November. £burcl) Onus Mrs.
