(AP) The Kansas Legislature maintained its rapid pace toward weekend adjournment Tuesday, finishing floor debate on bills and turning its attention to conference committees compromising key pieces of legislation. A bill setting limits on campaign contributions and expenditures and requiring pre- and post-election reporting of campaign finances reportedly is the first big bill in conference which may be reported back for House and Senate consideration.
