(Special) Relatives here received a message today advising dem of the death lit Hamilton pf trs. James Wallace, a native of Spencerviile.

Wallace was prior to her marriage Agnes; Jane Bennett, a daughter of the! late Mr; and Mrs. Andrew W. Bennett, both natives Ireland, and pioneers or this cinity. She was 90 years of age. For the greater part of her life she had resided in Ottawa, where her husband served as a passenger conductor on the Canadian Pacific Railway from Ottawa to Montreal until hU retirement.

They had lived at Beamsville, Ont, until the death of Mr. Wallace; IMrs. Wallace later moved to ltamilton with her daughter where her death occurred on Sunday following a short illness. Surviving are two daughters, Mri Noel Ogilvie, Ottawa, Mrs. Allan Taylor, Hamilton, seven grand children, several great grandchildren, two sisters, Miss Hannah Bennett, Spencervllle, Mrs.

Mr. Beckstead was a native of Boucks Hill and Russell, the son of) the late Mr. and Mrs. Robert Beckstead. Educated in Boucks Hill and Williamsburg, he was employed as a cheesemaker for 22 years, and recently by the Civil Service Commission I at Ottawa.

He resided in Ottawa for several years. 1919 he married Mina Mae Do ran, of South Mountain, who survives. Surviving, besides his widow, are two sons, Glen, of Toronto; and Rae, at home; three daughters, Geraldine, of Toronto, and Belle and Gladys, of Ottawa; one brother, Clarence, of Morrisburgi and 10 grandchildren. NJrs; Jane Pollock i Djes in Hospital Irs. Jane Pollock, a native of Scotland and resident of Can-t aja for the past 45 years, died in! hospital yesterday after a brief iljiness.

She was in-her 83rd year. pThe former Jane McGregor, shje was bora in Glasgow the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Daniel McGregor. She was married to James Pollock; who predeceased her eight, years ago.

She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. Surviving are one brother and two sisters in Scotland, four brothers-in-law, two sisters-in-laW, and several nieces and nephews. jhe body is at Hulse and Play-fair's where service will be conducted by Rev. J. F.
