But he soon discovered the corporate life was not for him and headed to Los Angeles. Other actors who got the axe from their respective shows this past week are Barbara Crampton (Maggie on Bold And Beautiful) who leaves in early May and Days Of Our Lives stars Steve Wilder (Jack) and Stephanie Cameron (Jennifer), whose last air date will be closer to the end of that month. Peter Barton (Eddie on Sunset Beach) is also being written out during May ratings sweeps.

Deidre Hall (Marlena on Days) has re-signed with the show so fans can breathe a sigh of relief. There had been rumors that she was thinking of leaving. Ricky Paull Goldin returns to Another World as Dean Frame for one day, airing May 5 Daytime TV newcomer Taylor Stanley joins Another World in the contract role of Remy, a young troublemaker. He never brought one ounce of bigotry into our home." If he got his football mania from his father, Taylor discovered he got his love of acting from his mother, who was a schoolteacher. "My dad told me she was always doing recitals and drama readings.

But I learned that only after I had become an actor." "I especially loved Paul Newman movies," he reminisces. "I always wanted to look more closely into the movie, see what was going on, how he did what he does. But I was into sports, not doing high school plays or community theatre." He treasures his childhood memories. "It was like Tom Sawyer with a football."
