He served in many capacities at St. Mark's Anglican in Calgary and Brentwood Anglican Chapel in Brentwood Bay. Jack also filled executive positions with the Progressive Conservative Associations in Calgary and Saanich. RONELLENFITCH Clare (nee Bekar) of Nanaimo, B.C., formerly of Calgary, passed away peacefully at home, November 27, 1 994 following a brave battle with cancer at the age of 66. Clare was predeceased by her beloved husband Ben on November 17, 1989. She will be lovingly remembered by her children and their spouses, Cheryl and Peter Boetzkes, North Vancouver, B.C., Barry and Janice Ronellenfitch, Calgary, Jan and Jim Myhre, Duncan, B.C., Paul and Cathy Ronellenfitch, Spirit River, her fourteen grandchildren, five sisters, two brothers, numerous nieces and nephews, and many dear friends in Nanaimo and Calgary. Her courage, dignity, sense of humour and especially her enduring faith in God will always be remembered. Telephone: 604-521-4881 WEIS Dr. Hannelore Starfmger Weis, born January 25, 1 943, passed away after a courageous battle with cancer on November 29, 1994. She will be lovingly remembered by her three children, Charlotte, Claudia and Alex Weis; and one cherished granddaughter Lauren Weis. She is also survived by her parents, Dr. Gunter Starfinger, his wife Marga; and one sister Annette (Dieter) Starfinger; and a niece and a nephew in Germany; and by her former husband Heinz Weis.

She was predeceased by her mother Gisela. Hanne came to Canada in 1 968, and spent her career at the University of Toronto, Queen's University and the Alberta College of Art. She was an extraordinary person of grace and wit. She embraced lite with a rare passion, giving generously of her time to all who needed it be mey students, colleagues, family or friends. Hanne was greatly moved by all who took the time to visit with her over these last difficult months, your kindness and genuine concern were a source of great strength for her.

Lampard Ph.D., passed away peacefully at the RDRHC on November 26, 1994. Born in Calgary on September 16, 1911, she became a one-room school teacher in the 1930's. After training in Winnipeg, Chicago and Birmingham, she became recognized as an expert in remedial education, with a lifelong focus on reading problems. In 1952 she began the first reading clinic and post graduate reading program at the of A. She became the first Canadian Director of the prestigious International Reading Association.

Following completion of her Ed.D. in 1 966 she transferred to the new of Lethbridge as a founding faculty member and Senator. Retirement in 1 977 found her a Distinguished Visiting Professor at Mt. St. Vincent University, Halifax.

A superb diagnostician, she was noted for her generosity of time, knowledge and books, her lifelong dedication and pioneering work in reading, her dry humour and a lack of extravagance in her choice of words. After completing fifty-one years of teaching excellence and thirty-six years in her reading subspecialty with numerous publications, guide books, curriculum changes and courses to her credit, she returned to Edmonton and was honoured with the Queen's Jubilee Award and Alberta Award of Excellence. Dorothy leaves behind, Jim and Sadie (Red Deer), Joyce (Edmonton), Marion Jenkinson; five nephews, Doug, Bob, Toby, Bill and Tom, their families and countless appreciative students. A Memorial Service will be held at St. Leonards On-The-Hill, Red Deer, December 3, 1 :00 p.m., Rev.

McMILLEN Mr. Howard Nelson McMillen of Calgary passed away November 30, 1994 at the age of 83 years. Howard is survived by two sons, Allen Howard (Jackie) McMillen, and Fred McMillen; and numerous grandchildren, all of England; a brother Merle McMillen, and a sister Janie McMillen both of Ponoka.

He was predeceased by a daughter Pamela in England. Howard was born and raised in Ponoka and resided in Calgary most of his life. He served overseas with the Canadian Army during World War II and was employed with the City of Calgary, as a meter reader until his retirement. He was predeceased by a brother Rexford. Donald was formerly from Hull, and came to Calgary in 1970. He retired from Carting O'Keefe's, Calgary. He was an Honorary Life Member of the Calgary Trap and Skeet Club.

He is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Don and Marie of Calgary, Pat and Shirley of Edmonton; eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren, onald was predeceased by his first wife Nell, and by his second wife Barbara. As a business man and resident of Red Deer for forty years, Don had been very active in the Masons, Shrine, Lions Club and the Royal Canadian Legion.

He was also very active as a piper in local pipe bands and the Pipes and Drums of Al Shamal Temple, in Edmonton. A Memorial Service will be held at Eventide Funeral Chapel, (4820 45 Street, Red Deer), today, December 1, 1994 at 1 :00 p.m. with the Rev. Drew Burnand of Knox Presbyterian Church officiating. Maria was born in San Andrea Del Ganliano, Italy on January 31 1 931 She immigrated to Canada and settled in Calgary with her husband and eldest daughter. After working for a brief period of time, Maria decided to fully devote herself to being a full-time wife and mother.

Besides her husband, she is survived by two sons, Tony and Frank; two daughters, Domenica Carelli-Moro and Mansa Carelli-Fabrig; as well as three very special grandchildren, Amanda Fabrig, Dominic Fabrig and Melina Moro, all of Calgary. Maria is also survived by her father Domenico Reale; two brothers, Giovanni Reale, all of Italy, Vincenzo Reale of 'Germany; two sisters, Cathy Bryce of Penticton, B.C., and Italia Voglini of Calgary. She was predeceased by her mother Maria Guseppa Reale, and one grandson Patrick Moro. Maria was a friend, peacemaker, humanitarian and a true lady. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

The family extends special thanks to Dr. J.F. Thaell, Dr. F. Mohan, and all of the wonderful nursing staff at the Bow Valley Centre.
