Anderson (Ted) of Calgary, dearly beloved husband of his wife of forty-two years, Muriel, passed away peacefully on March 28, 1995 at the age of 70 years, surrounded by his loving family at the Foothills Hospital.

Ted was predeceased by a son David Edward, his parents, James and Eleanora Andersen, sisters, Esther McLean and Ethel Guthero, and a brother James. He will be lovingly remembered by his daughter Kathryn Rose (Brian); and sons, James Barlow (Linda), Douglas Mark (Sandra), and Samuel Dean (Claudette); as well as his grandchildren whom he adored, Carissa and Pierce, Kyle and Reece, Tascha Lor and Kira Rose. He is also survived by his sister Lou Olean of Winnipeg; brother Rev. Enoch Anderson (Melba) of Portland; and many nieces, nephews and friends. Ted was born in Saskatchewan, but grew up in Lac Du Bonnet, Manitoba, where as a child he developed a keen interest in aviation and building model airplanes.

In later years he built and flew a Mini-Coupe and was a longtime member of the Experimental Aircraft Association. Ted worked as a Timekeeper, Field Office Manager, and Production Accountant until failing health forced him to retire. His indomitable spirit, keen wit and sense of humour stayed with him throughout his life and were an inspiration to all who knew him. A Memorial Service will be held at St. Giles Presbyterian Church on Tuesday, April 4 at 2:00 p.m.

with Rev. Dr. D. Crawford officiating. A reception in the Lower Hall will follow.

I 293760 RICE Frederick Raymond Rice passed away at the Shuswap Lake General Hospital, Salmon Arm, B.C., on Thursday, March 30, 1995 at the age of 83 years. 177188 ROBERTSON Mrs. Margery "Grace" Robertson of Calgary passed away peacefully at the Agape Manor Hospice on March 30, 1 995 at the age of 86 years. Grace is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Garry and Mary-Lou Robertson of Calgary; two grandchildren, Leslie Robertson and James Robertson and his wife Jane Ballantine, all of Calgary; as well as a nephew Roger and his wife Phyllis Ring and their two sons, Chris and Jeff, all of Campbell River, B.C.; a niece Diane and Dennis Larson of Surrey, B.C.; and brother-in-law Jim Ring of Edmonton. She was predeceased by her husband Duncan in 1 959, parents, Fred and Mary Donnison, and two brothers, Ed and Fred, a sister Wyn Ring, and a granddaughter Janet. A native Calgarian, Grace attended Normal School and taught school at DeWinton and Rosebud, marrying Duncan Robertson in 1935.

Besides his loving wife, Don is survived by one son Don of Calgary; three daughters and one son-in-law, Lorri Trahan of Toronto, Karen and Barry Bennington of Cranbrook, Michelle Trahan and her fiance Glen Buchanan of New Westminster; and two grandchildren, Samuel and Stephanie Bennington.

He is also survived by his mother Margaret Trahan of Calgary; one brother and sister-in-law, Rod and Linda Trahan of Vernon. He was predeceased by his father Cyril, his brothers, George, Clifford and Cameron. Don was born April 4, 1938 at Maidstone, Saskatchewan and attended school in Saskatchewan before joining the Royal Canadian Navy at the age of sixteen. In 1 960, upon his retirement from the Navy, he joined the Calgary Police Force. At the time of his death, he was employed with the Canadian Corps of Commissionaires.

S.W., Calgary, AB T3C 3P6J. HARMER Cameron (Alan) Bromlev of Cochrane, Alberta, passed away Friday, March 31, 1995 at the age of 76 years. Cameron will be lovingly remembered by his dear wife Stellar; and his four children, Lesly of Calgary, AB, Estelle of Vancouver, B.C., Michael (Jade) of Vernon, B.C., and Guy (Hildy) of Fort McMurray, AB; as well as his eight grandchildren. Also surviving are his two sisters, Mrs. Molly Martin and Mrs.

C. (Pat) Watt, both of England. Cameron was bom at Malvern, Worcestershire, England on March 27, 1 91 9 and after serving with the R.A.F. in the rank of Squadron Leader he came to Canada in 1946. After a period of service with the Canadian Forces (R.C.E.M.E.), Cameron settled in Calgary in 1 952 where he was employed by the City of Calgary as Manager of the Garage Division of the Mechanical Services Department until his retirement in May 1978.

Memorial Service will be held at All Saints Anglican Church in Cochrane (1 26 2 Avenue) at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 4, Reverend D.H. Skoyles officiating. 192536 HICKLIN Margaret Christison Hicklin passed away at the Forest Grove Care Centre on March 30, 1995 at the age of 78 years. She is survived by her loving husband of fifty-nine years, Clarence; four children, Marjorie (Arnold), John (Lesley), Bob (Marion), Clark; eleven grandchildren, Tracy, Derrick, Crystal, Trudy, Shelly, Deanna, Debbie, Rhonda, all of Calgary, Rob and Jim of Thunder Bay, and Joe of Edmonton, their spouses; as well as six great-grandchildren.

Margaret was born in Calgary on August 11, 1916 and spent her entire life as a Calgarian devoted to her family. 294493 IRVING Vera Elsie Pearl Irving passed away at the Foothills Hospital on March 30, 1995 at the age of 79. She was predeceased by her loving husband Clarence in March of 1993, and her parents, Daisy and Harold Whittle, and her sister Evelyn. She is survived by her son Gail and his wife Pat of Calgary; her son Bruce and his wife Kathy of Kelowna, B.C.; grandchildren, Bruce of Whistler, B.C., Joanne of Calgary, Alan, Katherine and Todd and their mother Mimi of Calgary, and Sasha of Kelowna. Also surviving are her brother Dr. Doug Whittle and wife Eline of Vancouver, B.C.; brother-in-law Gordon Irving and wife Marg of Florida along with numerous nieces and nephews and cousins.

Vera was bom on January 7, 1916 in Calgary and lived all her life here. She was proud to be a native Calgarian. She was actively involved in the Local Council of Women and the Calgary Activettes. The family wishes to sincerely thank Coleen and Peter Sikorski, Donna, Sylvia and Sally of Fielding House for their care and compassion in the last months of her life. Dick will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by his son and daughter-in-law, Bob and Wendy Miller of Calgary; two grandchildren, Patty (Bob) Lee and Dan (Cathy) Miller; two great-grandchildren, Thomas and Candice Lee; and many nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his loving parents, Evelyn and Kenneth Cullum; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Gerry and Shyrl, Keith and Kim; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Heather and Jerry Cyr, Michelle and David Hind; father and mother-in-law, Harold and Frances Saklofske; as well as many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Jeff graduated from the University of Calgary with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. He spent most of his working career in Human Resources for various oil companies, most recently employed with Canadian Occidental as Manager of Human Resources International. Jeff loved his family, enjoyed travelling and had a zest for life. He will always be remembered for his kindness, generosity and his humor, by all whose lives he touched.
