CITY OF OTTAWA DEPARTMENT OF PHYSICAL ENVIRONMENT -CANCELLATION of th 1975 TRASH COLLECTION Th City of Ottawa regrets that due to budget restrictions, there will be no Trash Collection in 1975. Residents are reminded that the regular garbage collection will take many of the items that have been previously placed out during the Annual Trash collection. Items of household refuse, such as rubbish, discarded materials, clothing, grass and garden refuse, shrubs and branches, etc. will be collected with your regular garbage on any regular collection day provided they are in containers or tied in bundles of not more than 4 feet in length and SO pounds in weight. A maximum of 6 containers or bundles will be removed with any single residential collection.

Large items such as furniture, electric appliances, etc' which are not collected by the regular garbage contract, will have to be disposed of by private means. The public is reminded that any person moy take waste materialSfto the disposal site on Ridge Road (approximately 1 mile from the Intersection of Russel) Rood and St. Laurent Monday through Saturday, 8.00 A. M. to 6.00 P.M., year round.
