She was predeceased by her husband William McKinnon (Bill) McLeod on October 11, 1960, also by two sisters and one niece in England. She is survived by a great-nephew Mark Scholey, Lancashire, England; friends, Paul and Violet Chalus, Calgary and by other friends.

She was born in Lancashire, England and came to Canada in 1949 to Calgary and has resided in Calgary since. Funeral Services will be held at LEYDEN'S "Chapel of Remembrance" (17 Avenue and 2 Street S.W.), Monday, November 9, 1992 at 1:30 p.m. with the Rev. R.H. Grant Rodgers officiating.

Mabel Angel Roy passed away peacefully at the Oven Auxiliary Hospital on November 5, 1992 at the age of 91 years. She is survived by a son Donald of Youngstown, Alberta; and a daughter Elaine (Walter) Wood of Oyen, Alberta; and seven grandchildren, thirteen greatgrandchildren and two great-greatgrandchildren; two sisters, Mildred Witmer of Washington, U.S.A. and Edna Laughlin of Hanna, Alberta. Mabel was predeceased by her husband Eben in 1975 and one sister and five brothers. She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Funeral Services will be held Monday, November 9, 1992 at 2:00 p.m. in the Youngstown Community Hall. Burial Services will be held Tuesday, November 10, 1992 at 1:00 P.m. from the Mountain View Memorial Gardens, Calgary. Memorial tributes may be made to S.T.A.R.S.

WILSON (nee Stott) On November 6, 1992 Mrs. Mary Roberta Wilson (nee Stott) of Edmonton, widow of Llovd Evans Wilson, passed away. She leaves to mourn her loss, two sons, Bob and his wife Margo Wilson of Calgary, Gordon and his wife, Nancy Wilson of Edmonton; three daughters, Laura and her husband Frank Brown of St. Albert, Sheila and her husband Tim Skeans of Vancouver, B.C., Barbara Wilson of Edmonton; twelve grandchildren; one sister Decima and her husband Edgar Baker of Edmonton; one sister-in-law Jessie Stott, Olds, Alberta. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday at 1:00 p.m.

WILSON Robert beloved husband of Louise of Calgary, passed away at the Foothills Hospital on November 4, 1992 at the age of 81 years.

He is also survived by two sons, Harold (Donna) and Frank (Bonnie); and three grandchildren, Stephen, Brandy and Jeff. Bob served as a Chief Petty Officer in the Canadian Navy during World War II, then worked as a machinist at the C.P.R. Ogden Shops for forty-seven years until retirement. He was active and held office in the Union Local 357 of the I.A.M.A.W., was active as an instructor and examiner with St. John Ambulance, was an active member of Hillhurst United Church, and after retirement was a member of the CP.

Pensioners where he was president for seven years. A Memorial Service will be held at Hillhurst United Church, 1227 Bowness Road N.W. on Saturday, November 7 at 2:00 p.m., Rev. Bob Aldridge officiating. Cremation at CALGARY CREMATORIUM.

She was predeceased by her husband Andrew on March 14, 1989, and is survived by her three sons, Larry (Genny of Airdrie, Jim of Victoria, B.C., and Wayne of Airdrie; as well as four granddaughters, Sandee, Carrie, Denise and Sonia. JOHAL Jasvir Singh suddenly passed away at the age of 39 years on November 2, 1992. SPANKIE Alexander Spankie, born on October 17, 1907, passed awav at his home on November 5, 1992 at the age of 85 years. He is survived by his loving wife Mildred; son Ronald (Janet) Spankie of Calgary; daughters, Helen (Bev) Bording of Nanaimo, B.C., Marie (Bill) Dustan of Calgary and Louise (Robert) Hacock of Calgary; thirteen grandchildren and one great-granddaughter. Alexander is predeceased by his father James, mother Ellen, brothers, Jim, Norm, Jack and Ed, as well as one sister Winnie. He has lived in Calgary since 1940 and was an electrical contractor for many years.

Dear father of Leon (Irene) of Chicago, Illinois, Ayala (Robert) of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Jack, Max (Dora), and David (Lisa) of Calgary, Alberta.

Meyer was predeceased by his beloved wife Celia in 1988. He will be sadly missed by his sons, daughter, grandchildren, greatgrandchildren, and his three brothers, Leo (Anne), Howard (Freda) of Calgary, and Harold (Lois) of Denver, Colorado. Meyer was born January 15, 1912 in Poland. During World War II, Meyer heroically led an underground movement in Poland. He was instrumental in saving lives.

Many will acknowledge his efforts in arranging their travel out of war torn Europe. In 1946, he was appointed Chief of Police United Nations Relief and Rehabilitation Administration in Italy. A monument to his bravery exists in Israel. Always a supporter of his beloved Israel, he generously supported its learning institutions over the years. After living in England and Africa after the war, Meyer operated the Riverside and Sunnyside Grocery stores.

In his later years, Meyer was active at the St. Louis Hotel, where he was affectionately known as Meyer was very learned in Judaism, and gave unselfishly of his time and funds to the Congregation House of Jacob in Calgary, of which he was a member for many years. He could speak several languages. Many have experienced his kindness and generosity over the years. His family is extremely grateful for the kindness and care provided by the Beverly Nursing Home, where Meyer spent his last four years.

passed away on October 31, 1992. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Judy and Eddie Semenzin and her faithful companion J.R. June was born in Calgary on June 14, 1914. She had an abounding lust for life that did not falter until her last hour. She was involved in the oil patch in the burgeoning years of that profession.

Her mother's illness instigated June's opening and managing a nursing home in Edmonton in the late 1950's. In 1960 she returned to Calgary and established Glenoble Poodles in Midnapore where she became a respected dog show judge and grooming specialist. In 1972 June moved to Fairmont, B.C. but her busy life belied her attempt at retirement. Until her death she remained active in her golf club, gin rummy club and generally organizing all of her friends.

A prolific knitter, June had made and donated innumerable afghans and baby clothes to the Windermere District Hospital. Respecting June's wishes there will be no Service.
