Alexander Domaschenko of Calgary passed away at the Dr. Vernon Fanning Care Centre on March 2, 1990 at the age of 68 years. Besides her loving husband, Maria is also survived by her family, Josef and Rose Meissinger, E. Terry and Horst Fandrich, John and Ruth Domaschenko, all of Calgary; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She is also survived by one sister and brother-in-law, Susan and John Harich of Calgary and one brother in Austria.

Richard Clement "Dick" Hunter of Nanton passed away at the High River Hospital on March 2, 1990 at the age of 76 years. KAY Helen Louise, beloved wife of Frank V. Kay, in her 78th year on March 2, 1990 at the Foothills Hospital following a long illness. Granddaughter of Rev. John McDougall, she was a life long resident of Calgary. Also survived by a son, Robert and his wife Lorna of Mississauga, Ontario; three granddaughters and their husbands and two great-grandsons.

He was predeceased by two brothers, John and Neil Lindsay. Duncan and his wife, Sarah, moved to Calgary from Glasgow, Scotland in 1979, be with their three sons and their families. LYNCH-STAUNTON Mary Vera (nee Sterling), formerly of Edmonton and Lethbridge, Alberta, passed away February 26, 1990 at her home in Qualicum Beach, British Columbia. Born in Calgary on November 13, 1920, she lived all her life in Alberta, before retiring to Vancouver Island, in 1988. Having obtained her Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Alberta in 1946, she worked in Edmonton until marrying in 1954. After raising seven children, she was very active in the Navy League of Canada as local Branch President and Treasurer of the Southern Alberta Division and the IODE as Regent of the Sir Alexander Galt Chapter, both in Lethbridge. Mary was a Dame in the Military and Hospitaller Order of St.

Lazarus of Jerusalem. An avid reader, she had a zest for learning throughout her life. She will be remembered for her welcoming manner. Mary is survived by her loving husband George, her only son Marcus, both of Qualicum Beach; her six daughters, Kim, Julie and her husband Duane, Georgina, Martha, all of Edmonton; Patricia and her husband Julius of Lethbridge; Sarah and her husband Henri, of Calgary; five grandchildren; sisters-inlaw Miriam Fraser of Qualicum Beach; Peggy Allred and her husband Guy, of Hillspring; cousins Myra Clark of Seattle; Peggy Bovey of Toronto. She was predeceased by cousin Gordon Snowdon, of Calgary.

In Edmonton, a gathering will be held at the Garrison Officers' Club, Prince of Wales Armoury on Friday, March 9, between 7:00 and 11:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to The Navy League of Canada Lethbridge Branch. Lily Morris of Calgary passed away at the Colonel Belcher Hospital on February 28, 1990 at the age of 95 years. She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Danny and Audrey Morris of Calgary; four grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Denis in 1979 and by two brothers, Bert and George. Mrs. Morris was born in Wollaston, England and came to Canada in 1921.

She devoted her life to serving others and in particular the veterans at the Colonel Belcher Hospital. She will be sadly missed by her family and many friends. Paskall was predeceased by her husband William; sons Keith and Jim and daughters Lynda, Jean and Lois. Born in Penge, England in 1901 came to Canada with her parents in 1908 and resided in Rocky Mountain House until 1951 when she moved to Calgary with her family. She has been a member of The North Hill Church of the Nazarene since that time. She leaves to mourn five sons, Alfred (Anne), Harold (Donalda), Wayne, all of Calgary, Lloyd (Gladys) of Delta, B.C., and Dennis (Iris) of Brooks; five daughters RoseAnne (Wes), Margaret (Ken), all of Calgary, Joyce (John) of Surrey, B.C., Violet (Don) of Ponoka and Sheila (John) of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan; thirty-four grandchildren; thirty-seven greatgrandchildren; two great-greatgrandchildren; brother Dan (Helen) Brockman of Rocky Mountain House; sister Connie Swedberg of Surrey, B.C. Patterson is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, John and Lee Patterson of Calgary; three daughters and sons-in-law, Luana and Ken Waldron of St. Albert, Anne "Buffy" and Bob Ainsworth of Camrose and Sylvia and Nick Polachuk of Calgary; and five grandchildren, Carl Waldron, Heather and Gillian Ainsworth and Andrew and Christina Polachuk. He is also survived by his mother, Mrs. Margaret Patterson of Calgary, now residing in Banff; one brother and sister-in-law, Arthur and Margaret Patterson of Calgary; one sisterin-law, Peg Patterson of Calgary; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father, Harry in 1957 and two brothers, Sandy in 1973 and Don in 1982.

Mr. Patterson was a member of the Royal Canadian Corps of Signals and landed in Normandy on D-Day. He retired from the Armed Forces as Major and was later appointed Honorary Lieutenant Colonel. He was appointed to the District Court of Southern Alberta in 1960 and later served on the Court of Queen's Bench. He retired in October 1988 after serving on the Bench for twenty-eight years.

Memorial Services will be held at McINNIS HOLLOWAY'S "Park Memorial (5008 Elbow Drive S.W.) on Tuesday, March 6, 1990 at 1:00 p.m. with the Rev. Dr. R. Bruce Vanstone of Knox United Church officiating.

She was predeceased by her first husband, Alfred LaBarge, in 1964 and her father, J. Blanchard McCarty, in 1957. Velma resided in Calgary since 1959. She owned and operated beauty salons and was employed at McGill Drugs for fourteen years, retiring in 1983. Velma was an avid gardener, spending many hours in her greenhouse.

She loved her life at Chestermere Lake, where she and Don resided for fourteen years. Velma was a talented individual who readily accepted many challenges. Devoting her life to her husband, daughters and mother, her selfless dedication enabled her elderly mother to remain independent. Her close friends deeply valued her loyalty and generosity. She will be deeply missed by her loving husband, family and friends.

At the age of ten, he moved with his family to Bowden, Alberta where he was raised and educated. He served in the Armed Forces overseas from 1939 to 1945.

While overseas he met and married his wife Joan. The family moved to Red Deer where Floyd worked for the City of Red Deer Electrical Dept. and in 1967 they moved to Calgary where he worked for the Calgary School Board until his retirement in 1984.
