Uhdey, 514 Fourth avenue, and the late Gene Walkerman: youngest child of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Walkerman was born November 19, 1866 in Erie, Pa After several years of failing health, he passed away at his home in Salisbury at the age of 68 years and 21 days, Monday about noon. only brother died several years ago in St. Louis, and the one sister, Mrs.

C. W. Uhdey, lives in Warren, where the body was taken for burial and W'hich is i the old home of the Walkeman family. was united in marriage Feb- ruary 12, 1901, to Mrs. Mary Agnes Murray, who eurvivee.

There were no children bom to this i union. Walkerman served his country during the Spanish-American War by his service in Cuba. For some time he was engaged in raih-oad work in the west, but during the last 19 years was employed as an engineer the Prairie Pipe Company. operation of the pumping station at Oil City shut down a few years ago, Mr. and Mrs.

Walkerman moved to Salisbury where they have since resided. was a quiet man of many likeable traits. He had deep convictions but was never unkind nor harsh toward those who differed from him. He was honorable, sincere and trustworthy and knew how to win and hold friends. children knew him and loved him and many loved to call him This community has lost a vahiable and honorable citizen in his passing.
