r-TT. Minister Dr. Mdrc Boyer Dies Dr. Mare Boyer, Deputy Minister of Mine and. Technical Surveyi, died in General Hospital Thursday night after suffering a heart attack.

Dr. Boyer returned to' his office after attending dinner at the Rideau Club and com. plained to his secretary be was (jeling ilLiHe suffered -the seizure In his office about 3.30 p.m., and was taken to hospital A native of Labelle, Dr. Boyer was a veteran member of Quebec's civil service when he was appointed federal Deputy Minister of Reconstruction and -Supply in 1949. He held his latest post since 1950.

He received a mining engineering degree from McGill University four years later. Before entering the Quebec civil service ha worked aa' an assayer for Consolidated Mining and Smelting Company in British Columbia.

He was a mining' inspector with the Quebec Mines Department until 1936, then was appointed director of the depart dent's mapping division. In 1943 he became registrar nd secretary of the Corpora-tion of Professional Engineers in Quebec, a position he held until his appointment in Ottawa. He survived by his wife, two daughters and four sons Mrs. Roger Hamel of Montreal. DR.

Quell Blaze In Aylmer CPR Station Fire caused more. than $3,000 damage to furniture and stock owned by Walter Nelson, an Aylmer upholsterer, at the Aylmer" CPR rail way station Thursday morning. Art Carney Drunk Say Police NEW YORK (AP)-Actfr Art Carney was arrested on a charge of drunken driving Thursday after, police said, his sports car and a taxicab collided at Broadway and 70th St. in the heart of Manhattan. The actor was heid for night court, where he was released tn custody of his lawyer for another, appearance today. The arresting policeman told the court the cab driver had asked that the charge be laid agaihst Carney.
