Ova Perkins were dinner guests Sunday of their son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Perkins of Jacksonville. Miss Louise Reynolds was a recent visitor in the home of Mr. and Mrs.

Neal Brown and family. Miss Reynolds has completed two years of a four year enlistment in the Waves and is serving as a dental assistant at the Naval hospital in Bethesda, Md. Mr. and Mrs. Earl Blakeman took their daughter, Sharon, and her roommate, Marilyn Streling of Pontiac, to Lamoni, Iowa.

Mr. and Mrs. Albert Dawdy have moved into the Mrs. Bernice Deaton property. He is employed at the store in White Hall.

Mrs. Pearl Seely spent the week end with Mrs. Alta Young and Harold Wilkinson and all visited Sunday afternoon in Murrayville with Mrs. Emma Stice and Miss Mattie Martin at the Mrs. Bessie Mayberry home.

Mrs. Anna Cunningham of Glasgow spent Friday night with Mrs Alta Young. Mrs. Marie Dawdy and son, zil, spent Monday in St. Louis.

ARENZVILLE and Mrs. Harold Wessler and sons, Wendell and Robbie, were in Peoria Sunday afternoon to attend the wedding of Miss Sheila Baker and Arlen Field at Westminster Presbyterian church. Mr. Field is a fraternity brother of Max Wessler. Mr.

and Mrs. James Bayne of Detroit, and Mr. and Mrs. J. W.

Schuman of Centralia visited recently with Mr. and Mrs. L. D. Hierman and family of this city.

Dr. and Mrs. Roscoe G. Linder of Macomb and Mrs. Mary Naylor of Jacksonville, were visitors at the home of Mrs.

Mary Musch and family. Dr. Linder is a member of the faculty of the Western State Teachers College and is beginning his I 34th year as an instructor. He i taught three years in the Arenzville high school and since then has been at his presen? position. Mrs.

Linder is an assistant teacher at the college. The Arenzville unit of Home Bur- was hostess at the district meeting Tuesdty, Sept. 8, at 2 p.m. The district consists of Union, Monroe and Cass counties. The meeting wasj held at the Legion hall.

Stucker Family Reunion Is Held At Nichols Park Nichols park in Jacksonville was the scene on August 31 for the 1952 reunion of members of the Stucker family.
