Casper is survived by four daughters and sons-in-law, Irene and Don Ostrander of Whitecourt, Helen and Morris Nornberg of Calgary, Shirley and Norman Lamont of Calgary and Mary and Gale Myers also of Calgary; as well as twenty-two grandchildren and five greatgrandchildren. He is also survived by numerous other relatives. Casper was predeceased by his wife Ethel on July 17, 1990. Casper came to Canada from Hungary in 1930. He worked for the C.P.R.

in Calgary for over thirty years and was a member of the International Brotherhood of Boilermakers, Local 392. Besides his loving parents and sister, Simon is survived bv his brother-in-law Dick, and his girlfriend Suzanne and many relatives and friends in Canada and Britain. He came with his family to Canada from Britain in 1972 to seek a new life in Calgary. From childhood he developed unique and intuitive skills in the field of electronics and after training at S.A.l.T. found a rewarding position as a computer and network specialist at Trans Alta Utilities. In his recreational activities he displayed a similar enthusiasm in skiing and over the last year achieved the very highest level of certification as a scuba instructor.

In all his endeavours Simon gave his full effort with enthusiasm, always seeking perfection. All will miss his special sense of humour, often off beat but always guaranteed to make you smile and laugh in any situation. Simon will be greatly missed bv his family, relatives and friends, but wonderful and glorious memories abound of his life on this earth. Those wishing to pay their respects may do SO at MclNNIS 8. He is the loving father of five daughters and four sons-in-law, Linda and Jim Rogers of Calgary, Marie and Gordon Lester of Calgary, Donna and Lyle Summach of Kamloops, B.C., Kathy Smith of Red Deer and Lorrie and Walter John Gregor of Calgary; four grandchildren, Janelle, Melony and Jared Summach and Douglas Lester. Mr. Smith is also survived by one brother and sister-in-law, Bert and Joy Smith of Kelowna, B.C.; and two sisters and brothers-in-law, Jeanetta and George Ferguson of Killarney, Man. and Beatrice and Raymond Fradefte of Radville, several nieces and nephews and his mother-in-law Mrs. Lena Engel of Red Deer, Alta.

Born in Hardy, Mr. Smith served in active combat during World War II. He was employed with Canadian Pacific Railway for ten years prior to his employment with the Calgary Remand Centre where he served for twenty-one vears until retirement in 1987. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion No. 264.

SQUANCE Thomas Rodney (Rod) Squance passed away at the Holy Cross Hospital on May 13, 1991 at the age of 77 years, beloved father and father-in-law of Sid and Leona Squance of Calgary, Alberta, Pam and Bill Devlin of Winnipeg, Manitoba. Rod is also survived bv four grandchildren; a sister Mariorie Cuell of Calgary, Alberta; two brothers and sister-in-law, Jack and Joyce Snowball of Vancouver, B.C. and Jim D'Arcy of Calgary. He was predeceased by his wife Dorothy. Rod was born in Plymouth, England and came to Calgary in 1914.

He served overseas with the R.C.N.V.R. during the Second World War. She was born in Stuttgart, Germany on March 6, 1914, then immigrated to Canada in 1952 and became a citizen. She was a Blueline Machine Operator at Caldraft and then at West Canadian Graphic Ind. until her retirement. She leaves to mourn, her sister Margaret Kuntslin; her brothers, Michael and Werner Frank, all of Germany; and by her nephews, Klaus Kuntslin of Germany and Rolf Kuntslin of Australia. She will be sadly missed by her good friends, Kenneth Patton, Donald Kreklewetz, Marie and Win Kline, all of Calgary.

He was born in Shellbrook, Saskatchewan and lived most of his life in Saskatchewan and Calgary. Mr. Grimm is survived bv his loving wife Elma; four sons.

HODGE Mr. William (Bill) Sinclair Hodge of Calgary, passed away at the Rockyview General Hospital on Mav 13, 1991 at the age of 77 years. He is survived by his first cousins, Alex (Lenie) Sinclair of Victoria, B.C., Grace (Alex) Campbell of Sidney, B.C. and Margaret Harden of Scotland; second cousins, Harry (Diane) Campbell, Sandra (Dennis) Peperkorn, Debbie (John) Laliberte and Alex (Donna) Sinclair and many dear friends. Bill was predeceased by his brother Wilson, a casualty of World War II, serving with the Calgary Highlanders.

He was born and raised and spent his life in Calgary. Bill was an accountant for the City of Calgary for twenty-four years prior to his retirement. Bill was a member of Ashlar Masonic Lodge No. 28 and an Honourary Member of Bow River Lodge No. 1, Calgary.

OLDENHOF In loving memory of Mrs. Beertie (Beer) Oldenhof of Calgary, passed away on May 13, 1991 at the age of 71 vears, beloved wife of Gerrit and dear mother of Martina (Dennis) Belanger, Maria (David) Stevenson, all of Calgary. She is also survived by a sister Cora Brondiik of Holland.

Beertie was born In Amersfoort, Holland and came to Canada In 1955 and resided In Calgary. She was employed as a medical reference librarian at the Calgary General Hospital until her retirement In October, 1984. In 1985, Beertie and Gerry moved to Kelowna, B.C. and returned to Calgary In 1990 where thev have resided since. Beertie will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by her loved ones.

Grace Elizabeth Dennison of Calgary, passed away peacefully at the Bow Valley Centre on May 14, 1991 at the age of 84 years. She is the loving mother of a son and daughter-in-law, W.R. (Bill) and Doris Dennison of Calgary; and a daughter and son-in-law, Shirley and Lester Dahlgren of White Rock, B.C. Mrs. Dennison is also survived by five grandchildren; eleven greatgrandchildren; a sister and brother-in-law, Margaret and Bill Way of White Rock, B.C.; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband Robert in 1960. He was also employed at Alberta Terminals until his retirement in 1980.
