BUT WITH THE. 1 Cfc GOINGr UP. I HAM9fRGR PAL, WHOSE Soviet astronomer finds a supernova Moscow (UPI) A young Soviet astronomer, Givi Kimeridze, working at the Abastuman Observatory in the Caucasian Mountains, has discovered a supernova star in a remote galaxy on the periphery of the Virgo Constellation. The official Soviet news agency Tass said the discovery by Kimerdze had been reported to other observatories around the world. Tass said the supernova was about 18,000 light years from the center of its own galaxy.

A supernova is a star that suddenly increases in brightness, sometimes by millions of times, and later, over a period of months of years, becomes dimmer. 1 Vfe Vff) 0.
