widow of Merritt Arnold, died of a complication of ailments yesterday at her home, 320 Windsor St. She was 90 years old. Mcs. Arnold was born In Boston and came to Reading in 1900. She was a daughter of the late and Mrs.

Joseph Ottersen. She was a member of. the Holy Spirit Lutheran church. Her husband died In Newark, X. in 1898.

Surviving Is a son, Frederick at nome, and a number of nieces. MRS. LOTTIE L. ShiULTZ, wjfe of Charles F. ShultK, died of acomr plication of allrrn.t9 Sunday at her home, 1352 Perkioroen after an Illness of three weeks.

She was a daughter of the iate Mr', and Mrs. Henry G. Landls. She wss a'mem ber of Andrew's Reformed church. Surviving, besides her litis band, who Is a Penn st.

VVALTER MILLER, Aged 13 years, son of Walter and Ida Miller, '810 Kline West Reading, 'n native of Germany, living In this country only three months, died of appendicitis at 7.45 p. m. Monday In the Reading HOspitai, where he had been a' patient for several days. The parents survive.

Undertaker Auman took charge of the body. SAMUEL G. STIMMEL, a former resident of Oley, and later residing with his daughter Emma, at 21 N. 6th this city, died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Eva DeLong, at Moun tainville, near Allentown.

Mr. Stim mel. accompanied by his wife, left Reading last Wednesday to spend some time with their daughter. He was stricken with apoplexy on Monday and expired at noon on Sunday. Mr.

Stimmel spent most of his life on his farm, near Friedensburg. He was 74 years, 10 months and 16 days old, and is survived by his widow, two daughters and three sons. LAST SAD RITES FOR FRANCIS M. FRITCH Rev. Charles G.
