McMillan's Execution. This morning in all probability Ed ward McMillan of Sturmerville will with his life pay the penalty for taking that of his wifo. Fome time ago Rev. Father Kiernan, pas tor of the St. Dominic's Church at Larsons, received $200 from a member of his congregation to be used in the purchase of a statue of the Sacred Heart for the church. Father Kiernan wrote to Paris and secured de signs and ordered one imported. It arrived last week and last evening was set up the church.

The statue is one of Christ with the Sacred Heart exposed. The work is about six feet in height and is one of the most beautiful works of art in this vicinity Everything connected with it is of the fines: and it was placed in the sanctuary between the jnain altar and the Virgin's altar. It was discovered that Casper had walked to Plymouth and there took the boat to this city. He was found by the officer drunk on Whisky Hill, and the silver watch, a gold chain and the revolver were recovered.
