Richard Eckert performed the 3 p.m. service Sept. 7- The bride, formerly of Sunbury, is the daughter of Gene and Julie Woomer of 2737 Canby St, and a granddaughter of the late John and Dorothy Eisenhower, the late Willis Woomer and Mildred Woomer Lewis of Lewisburg. The bridegroom is the son of Robert and Arlene Patton of Sinking Springs.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride chose her sister, Abbey J. Woomer of Harrisburg, as maid of honor. The bridesmaids were Diane Jurgill, Bobbie Gaiski and Mindy Zimmerman, all of Harrisburg; Courtney Patton, Kim Patton, Lori Wanner and Heidi Gaugler, all of Sinking Springs, all sisters of the bridegroom. Angela Campbell of Northumberland, cousin of the bride, was junior bridesmaid. The flower girl was Tara Campbell of Northumberland, cousin of the bride.

Serving as best man was Steve Yerger of Reading. The ushers were Tim Gingrich, Craig Hershey, Andy Kristich and Steve Kristich, all of Palmyra; Mark Stravolo and Scott Coburn, both of Harrisburg; and Ted Newton of Sinking Springs. Junior usher was Andrew Woomer of Harrisburg, brother of the bride. Ring bearer was Matthew Campbell of Northumberland, cousin of the bride, HERSHEY Colette Jennifer 'Amarante and Capt. John Lee were united in marriage during a double ring ceremony in Evangelical -Fee Church.

The Rev. Tory Lind- and the Rev. Ken Werho, an lArmy chaplain, performed the ceremony at 2:30 p.m. August 18. The, bride is the daughter of Mr.

and Mrs. Michael Amarante, Sr. of Danville RD1. The bridegroom is' the son of Mr. and' Mrs.

Leon K. Saufley of Hummelstowh RD2. Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a pearl headpiece and a white satin gown with short train. The gown was fitted to mid- thigh, with- embroidered appliques down the front, outlining the V-, neck in front and back, and at the base of the short sleeves. She carried calla lillies.

Serving as matron of honor was Josie Moore of Lewisburg. The bridesmaids were Betty Amarante of Danville, sister-in-law of the bride; Tonya Shiffler of Hummels-town; Maria Tickner of Jefferson-ville; and Michelle Monte of Randolph, N. J. Flower girls were Jessica Amarante and Holly Amarante, both of Danville, both nieces of the bride. Capt.

Scott Eichelberger of Texas was best man. Groomsmen were Mike Saufley of Hummelstown, brother of the bridegroom; Capt Tim Hess and Capt. Brian Plaisted, both of Illinois; and Dave Field of San Diego. The Army officers, attired in their uniforms, formed a sabre arch for the couple to pass through.

A large candy box bow with streamers accented with pearls, sequins and crystals was attached to her waist. She wore a face framer of silk flowers, pearls and pearl sprays, which held her two-tiered, elbow-length veil of bridal illusion. Chosen as maid of honor for her sister was Judy Forster of Macungie.
