Cloud covered Northeastern B.C. a and the southern two thirds of Alberta. Flurries were reported in the foothills and in the Peace region.

Chinooks will gradually blow the arctic front east of the mountains across Southern Alberta today and Friday. Meanwhile, weak systems moving along the arctic front will keep cloud and flurries over Northeastern B.C. and Alberta. In Northern Alberta the clear cold weather will last another day but on Friday milder air will bring cloud and occasional snow. SOUTH CENTRAL ALBERTA OUTLOOK, SATURDAY TO MONDAY: Mostly sunny all three days.

Murderer wins stay of execution NEW ORLEANS (AP) Convicted murderer David Dene Martin already moved to the death house and was asked what he, wanted for his last meal won a delay of execution Wednesday from a federal judge. Martin, convicted of killing his wife's lover and three other people, had been scheduled to go to the electric chair at Angola Prison early Friday.

U.S. District Judge Jack Gordon stayed the execution date pending a hearing on claims by Martin's attorney, Richard Shapiro, that there were errors in his trial and that he was not adequately represented by his trial attorney. "It appears to me that I have no choice in the matter," Gordon said at Wednesday's brief court session. "'The law is very clear. When a person claims ineffective assistance of counsel, is always entitled to a hearing on that allegation." No date set He set no date for the nearing and gave no estimate of when it might be completed.

KRUMES February 8, 1981, Adam Krumes. Services were held today, at 1 p.m. at "The Chapel on the Hill" CY FOSTERGOODER Funeral Service. Mr. William George Larsen, passed away at Holy Cross Hospital at the age of 83 years.

Mr. Larsen was born in Omaha in February of 1897 of Danish parents. He came with his family to Dixon, Alberta by wagon train in 1903, moving on to Calgary in 1919. In August 1926, he married Norma Chamberlain whom he met while both were members of Calgary's first Concert Orchestra. In 1940, he moved with his wife and two children to Banff, Alberta, where he owned and operated the Mount Royal Hotel Barber Shop.

During these years, he pioneered the Banff Full Gospel Church in the Oddfellows Hall from which has grown the present, Full Gospel Church in Banff. Besides his loving wife, Norma, Mr. Larsen is survived by a son, Leonard and his wife, Clara of Calgary; a daughter, Joyce Anderson and her husband, Kenneth of Kelowna; two brothers, Arthur and Thorvald and one sister, Clara Petersen and her husband, Erik, all of Calgary; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. LARSEN February 10, 1981, LINDSAY Edwin Algernon, an early Calgarian passed away in London, England at the age of 99 years, on Tuesday, February 3, 1981. Son of Calgary's pioneer doctor, Doctor N.J. Lindsay, he arrived in Calgary in 1883, where he received his early education before pursuing medical studies at McGill University.

Doctor Lindsay left Calgary the age of 25 vears to take post studies in Vienna and subsequently set up practice in England. He continued to practice medicine well into his 90's and was still an active Mason at the time of his death. He was predeceased by his wife, Cherry, in 1970; a brother, Neville, in 1979; a sister, Hazel Walsh, in 1972 and another brother, Lionel in 1969. He is survived by a niece, Diana Lindsay Sweet of Surrey B.C. and a nephew, William Legh Walsh of Calgary.

Funeral Services will be held at Holy Trinity Church, London, England, Thursday, February 12. MacDONALD February 9, 1981, Ruby Findlay, aged 62 years, beloved wife of Mr. Stanley MacDonald, 7116 Elbow Dr. S.W., and dear mother of Mrs. Bruce (Margaret) Bobock, Smithers, B.C.

Born in Munich, Germany, he came to Calgary in 1929 and had resided here since. He had been employed with Dominion Bridge and Barber Machinery until retiring. Besides his wife, he is survived by two sons, C. James of Medan, Indonesia; Allen of Calgary; two daughters, Mrs. Paula Eller of Palmer, Alaska; Mrs.

Joan Glosser of Calgary, Alberta; nine grandchildren and one greatgranddaughter; one brother, Max and two sisters, Thilde and Paulchan and was predeceased by one sister.
