(AP) Randy Burkman, a pitcher in the New York Mets organization, was accidentally shot in the leg while deer hunting near here Tuesday. Wadena County sheriff's officers said a member of Burkman's party accidentally wounded him. Burkman was struck in the upper right thigh by bullet, authorities said. Burkman, who pitched in 1979 for the Grace Harbor Mets' farm club at Aberdeen, sat out last season because his right leg had been injured in a snowmo-biling accident the same leg injured Tuesday.
