Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Gregg have received word from their son, Pfc. Henry Gregg, that he has arrived safely overseas. He is stationed somewhere in France.

Mr. and Mrs. Gregg moved to Payette, Idaho, February 13, to make their home. Mrs. David W.

Reid of Mill City, is here for a visit with her sister, Mrs. Fred C. Green and Mr. Green. She is returning home from New York City where she went to attend the wedding of her son.

First Lieut. John Warren Reid, U. S. army medical corps, and Miss Josephine Lockhart of Galveston, that took place April 7. Mrs.

Reid stopped in Emporia to visit Dr. Reids relatives, and will be here about a week before starting for her home.
