Alumbaugh of Kincaid announce the marriage of their daughter, Jean Louise, to Raymond LeRoy Jackson of Bronson. The wedding took place July at 7:30 p. m. on the front lawn of the home, followed by a reception. The double ring ceremony was performed by the Rev.

Jean Minnich. The bride was given in marriage by her father. Miss Eva Alumbaugh was the maid of honor and Gilbert Jackson was best man. Paul and Albert Charles Alumbaugh were the ushers. At the reception that followed the ceremony, Miss Helen Rosebaugh served the cake.

Miss Joan Jackson presided at the punch bowl. The bride and groom are both graduates of the Moran High School. They will make their home in Moran. A Reunion Is Held At the Massoth Home A family reunion and basket dinner was held Sunday at the Lawrence Massoth home in Piqua, honoring Mr. and Mrs.

James Higgins, Jimmy, Moira, and Tommy of Danbury, who are here visiting relatives and friends. Others present were Tom and Paul Massoth, Mr. and Mrs. L. M.

Westerman, Paul, Patty, Beverly, and Marcia, Mr. and Mrs. Leo Collins, John, George, and Pat, Mr. and Mrs. L.

E. Massoth, Margarite, Betty, and Julie, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Hoag, Mary and Janet, Burlington; Mr. and Mrs.

Don Westerman, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Westerman and Craig Lynn, Iola; Mr. and Mrs. Russell Reeves, Mary Ann and Jimmy, Wichita; Tommy Collins, Mr.

de Mrs. Trible Entertains Hobby Club Members Mrs. W. D. Trible was assisted by Mrs.

Russell McHenry when she entertained members of the H.O.W. Hobby Club in her home Monday afternoon. A short business meeting was conducted by Mrs. Trible, chairman. Mrs.

Virgil Powell and Mrs. Conn Higginbotham of Carlyle gave the afternoon's program on planters and plaques. Refreshments were served to Mesdames W. A. Moore, Waldo Bain, Ronald Beaty, Ida Faddis, Russell McHenry, Leslie Brubaker, Jewell Hendrix.

Mary Ann, and Andrews Beaty, and John Michael Corpolongo. V.F.W. Auxiliary Meets At Memorial Hall Mrs. Chester Young, president, presided at the meeting of the V.F.W. Auxiliary Monday night at Memorial Hall.

The community service chairman, Mrs Elizabeth Brooks. reported two boxes of food had been sent to a veteran's home. Mrs. Roy Ballard, hospital chairman. reported 22 pounds of carpet rags had been sent to Wadsworth Hospital.

Mrs. Elizabeth Brooks will be hostess to the members when they meet July 12 to do hospital sewing and have a hamburger fry. It was reported that $10.25 had been donated to the auxiliary for use of hospital equipment. Mrs. Capitola Hinson, cancer chairman, reported that the auxiliary had a supply of pads on hand for anyone that needs them.

The members had spent hours time in visits to the ill at the hospital. It was announced that six handmade rugs had been purchased from Wadsworth Hospital to be sold by the auxiliary. The members will continue to hold two meetings a month during July and August. There were 11 members present. Charles Melvin are enjoying a visit this week with their sons and families, Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Melvin, Carol and Kenneth of Baltimore, and Mr. and Mrs. Carl Melvin, Bernie and Michele and Bernard Gillespie of Los Angeles.

Sunday evening callers of Mr. and Mrs. Clayton Watts were Mr. and son Mark, of Shamrock, were last week visitors Monday through Thursday with Mr. and Mrs.

The victims were Tommy Ellis, 11, and his sister Connie, 13, and Joan Galloway, 10, of Old Monroe, Mo. He said Joan was thrown clear and tried run for safety but collapsed 367 feet from the tractor.

Rains Numerous Over Northeast (By The Associated Press) Showers sprinkled sections from the Plateau states to the northern Virginias today and cool air chilled most areas from the northern Midwest into the Northeast. Rains in most places were comparatively light but some spots were doused with locally heavy showers. About 114 inches of rain fell in a period in El Paso, Daytona Beach, six hour reported a fall of 1.23 inches. Showers which covered the northern half of the Plateau states along the Rockies while thundershowers hit areas from eastern South Dakota southeastward to the Ohio Valley and eastward to the northern Virginias.

A few isolated thundershowers also were reported in the southern At(lantic Coast region and along the eastern Gulf Coast. Mostly fair to occasionally partply cloudy weather was reported in other sections of the country. Temperatures in the 40s were reported again this morning along the Canadian border from the I northeastern upper Great Lakes to the upper St. Lawrence Valley. It was 42 at Bradford.
