THE WOMEN The employment of women as registrare in a number of precincts this year was an innovation. And not a bad one at that, because, from all reports, their duties were efficiently and quickly performed. In some respects, they are better adapted for this kind of work than men, and are, quicker to grasp the requirements of the position. Perhaps some women voters were averse to telling their ages, which is one of the requirements in registering. Over 21 doesn't fill the bill.
