Quite a number from this vicinity attended the Allen county fair at Icla this last week. Mrs. V. C. Schibi was taken to the Mercy hospital at Port Scott where she was operated on Monday.

We are glad to report she is getting along nioely and are hoping she will soon be able to return borne. Mrs. Edith Ward and daughter of Parksville, were Wednesday supper guests at the home of her cousin, Mrs. Will Stanford and Kenneth Ray Daugherty of Allen Center, visited his aunt, Mrs. Bill Gumfory, one day last week.

William Boyer from. Mayfield, Arkansas, arrived last week for a visit with his aunt, Mrs. Dora White and cousins, Mrs. Ed Shipley and Mrs. Lois Shipley and their families.
