WEDNESDAY, JULY 29, 1942. R.C.A.F. Lists Eleven Killed Four Missing The Royal Canadian Air Force ia its 328th casualty list of the war -Tuesday reported tour men lulled on active service overseas and five missing after overseas air operations. The overseas section of the list also contained the names of one roan who died of injuries suffered on active" service; one previously missing now is reported lulled on active service; one previously reported missing now reported prisoner of war and two previously reported missing now lor official purposes presumed dead. Three men were listed as killed on active service in Canada; one as4 dead from natural causes in Canada; one as seriously injured on active service in Canada; one as dangerously injured on active service in Canada and one as seriously ill in Canada, Four men were reported killed on active service in the United States and one as missing After flying operations in the United Following is the latest list of casualties with official numbers and next of kin: Overseas.

Sharpe i Tribute to the memory of James Wilbert Sharpe, divisional freight agent of the Canadian National Railways -at Ottawa, was paid by his many friends and railway associates Tuesday evening when funeral services were held In the chapel of Hulse and Playfair Ltd, 315 McLeod street Very Rev. Dr. Robert Johnston conducted the service.

The body was taken to Hamilton today for burial. In Ottawa since 1940, Mr. Sharpe had served with the CN.R. at Brentford, Hamilton and London during a period of 40 years. WeU known in the Capital he had been in poor health for the past 11 weeks.

Chief mourners at the funeral services were his wife, the former Ethel Warmington; two sons, Bruce of London, and W. Mer-vin, of Toronto; two daughters, Audrey and Jean, at home; four sisters. Misses Annette, Agnes and Ethel Sharpe, all of Hamilton, and Mrs. Don Henderson, of Chicago; one brother, A. H.

Final Tribute -To Edward Benoit Final tribute was paid to the memory of Edward Benoit 21 Arthur street whose funeral was held Monday morning from the Gauthier Funeral Home, 259 St Patrick street to the Basilica for solemn requiem high mass at 6.30 ajn. Mgr. O. Lalonde officiated, with Rev.

J. Desjardins as deacon, and Rev. J. Poirier as sub-deacon. Rev.

A. Thibeault officiated at the graveside, at Notre Dame cemetery. A life-long resident of Ottawa, Mr. Benoit who died on Saturday, in his 71st year, was -the son of the late Mr. and Mrs.

Isidore Benoit He- was educated in the Capital and was, employed as a stationary engineer with the Department of Public Works tor 38 years. He retired six years ago. He married the former Marie Louise Morrissette in 1896. Mr. Benoit was a member of the Canadian Order of Foresters, Artisans Canadiens Francais and the Union of Stationary Engineers.

He attended Notre Dame church Chief mourners were his widow, one son, Albert, a daughter, Mrs. Vincent Petitclerc, a sister, Mrs. O. Grenier, and a brother-in-law, N. Morrissette, all of Ottawa.

Floral tributes and spiritual offerings were received, including those from the External Trade Branch, Dominion 'Bureau of Statistics; Department of Public Works; La Federation des Femmes Canadlennes Francalses. i km: JH'f J' Two Indians Drown Third Rescued At Belleville BELLEVILLE, July 28. CP) An Indian man and woman were drowned early tonight near downtown Belleville when their row-boat capsized in the Bay of Qulnte. The deed: Mrs. Gordon Maracle, 35, of Shannonville, eight miles east of here, and 40-year-old Evans Maracle, no relation, also of Shannonville, i Twenty five year old Albert Maracle Belleville, who is said to be not related to the other two, was rescued by Fireman Frank Post as he clung to the overturned boat The two drowned when they were thrown into the water while trying to change places in the boat rented at a boat, livery stand in Belleville.

The body of Mrs. Maracle, whose husband farms at Shannonville, was found floating) on the water near the place where the boat capsized but the body of the man was not recovered. Officials said an Inquest will be Mrs. John Egan Dies in 37th Year Following a short illness Mrs. John Egan, of 248 Boulevard' St Joseph, Wrightville, died at a local hospital oa Tuesday in her 37th She was born Alma May Mc-Cambley in Venosta, Quebec, the daughter of the late Alec Mc-Cambley and his wife, the late Marie Flannefy.

She received her education there. In 1921 she married John Egan in Martindale, Quebec. Thirteen years ago she came to WrightvihVwith her husband where they have since resided. She was a highly respected member of the community and took an active part in church work. She was a member of St Joseph's Church, the League of the Sacred Heart and the Ladies of St Anne.

Surviving, in addition to her husband, are one ton, Joseph Earl, at home; four sisters, Mrs. Katie Snow, of Ottawa, Mrs. John O'Neill, of Eastview and the Misses Mary and Agatha Mc- Cambley of Ottawa; three brothers William, in Port Arthur, and Thomas and Michael, of Venosta; three nieces and six nephews. The body is resting at the parlors of McEvoy Bros, 235 Kent street corner Nepean. The funeral will be held on Friday at a time and place to be announced later.
