DEATHS READING MRS. FANNIE K. AUSTRIAN, 81 a native of Reading and mother of the late Ben Austrian, Reading, well known for his painting of animal lire and particularly of baby chicks until his death seven years ago, died at 5 o'clock yesterday afternoon at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Paul Ely. 710 West End New York city.

Besides her daughter, Mrs. Ely, Mrs. Austrian survived by a son, Joseph E. Austrian, of New York city, and a sister, Mrs. Louis Heilbron, Reading.

Interment will be made at the Mt. Sinai cemetery, Shillington, at 1.30 tomorrow afternoon. JAMES P. IIECKMAN died at his home. 1572 Mineral Spring at the age of 78 years.

He was a native of Unionville, a son of the late Samuel and Mary Ann (McGee) Heckman. He was a member of Park Evangelical church. By occupation he was a pipe cutter In the employ of the Reading Iron company. He retired 20 years ago. His wife, Mary Aim Heckman, died 24 years ago.

There survive two daughters, Grace, wife of Harry Tnimbore, and Lydia. wife of Charles Angstadt; one grandchild; one sister, Alice, widow of William Huber. T. C. Auman, will have charge of the funeral.

BLANCHE S. (William) STAVF FER, wife of Jay B. Staufler, died suddenly at her home in CAMP HILL, Cumberland county, at the age of 26 years. She was a native of Reading, a daughter of George N. and the late Katie A.

(Stuppi Williams. Mrs. Stauffer was well known In local social activities. She was a graduate of Reading High school, class of February. 1924, was a member of St.

Mark's Reformed church, and an active member of the Junior division, Reading Woman's club. She was married to Mr. Slatiffer Just lluve months ago. Besides her husband and father there survive three sisters and one brother: Pauline H. and Cathryn M.

Williams, at home; Florence, wife of Paul Merkel. Reading, and Raymond Williams, West Reading. OTTO F. FISCHER, died at his home, 928 Mulberry aged 48 years. He was a member of Alsace Lutheran church, Camp 663.

P. O. S. of Fraternal Order of Eagles, and German Beneficial a.ssociation. He was the son of Henry and Marie (Lettue) Fischer and was a native of this city.

There survive his widow, Carrie A. (Shugars), one daughter, Marie, wife of Earl 7j. Shade, HummeLstown; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry, Fischer, this city, end the following brothers and sisters: Emma, wife of Rudolf Nitche.

Laureldale; Anna, wife of Ralph Mengel; Martha, wife of Wal ter Heim; Esther, wife of Charles Courtney; William Fi.schKi and Frederick FLscner, all of this city. There ar four grandchildren. BERKS AND VICINITY MABRY K. YODKR died at his home at KUTZTOWN, at the age of 58 years. He was a graduate of the former Keystone State Normal school class of 1898, and taught school 16 years in Centre.

Lehigh and Northampton counties. For a number of years he was a cleric in the employe of the Kutztown Foundry and Ma chin; company. He was a member of Grace Evangelical Congregational church. Huguenot lodge, No. 377, F.
