The Corral has one of the most modern concession stands of any theatre in Canada. It is known as The Chuckwagon. One of the highlights of The Chuck-wagon is the pizza counter where two large ovens can cook the pies at the rate of 16 every minutes. The Corral is the only drive-in in Calgary which serves pizza. Another highlight of The Chuckwagon is the soft drink dispensing machine.

The Corral Drive-In is enclosed by a huge corral and fortress-type fence. The concession building at Special aluminum siding has been used for the tower. General contractors for the Corral were Baker Construction while Standard Paving and Surfacing of Canada the Corral is known as the Chuckwaenn and it takes in S.fflO square feet of spare. The building is of pre-stressed concrete and there are no pillars or posts in the main concourse.

Bright colors with special eye-appeal have been used throughout. Yellow, gold and red are the main colors used, although the women's rest rooms have been decorated in mauve, pink and white. The Corral will have a staff of 18 with an annual payroll of approximately $50,000. The company also has additional acreage which will be used for additional recreation facilities or for expansion of the drive-in. Mayor Grant MacEwan will officiate and many dignitaries, including city officials and representatives of the theatre business will be present. The Corral Drive-In Limited is located at 114th Ave. and the Macleod Trail and was constructed at a cost of nearly $500,000. The parent company is the Southwood Drive-In Limited, with M. W.

Zahorchak as president. The Corral is located at the northwest corner of the main cross-roads on a 20-acre site. It provides accommodation for 1,100 cars and has facilities for an additional 500 speakers. The screen Is one of the largest in Canada with dimensions of 85 feet by 135 feet. of the city will find access through the Glenmore Causeway.

The Corral Drive-In also will be catering to the families living in the Midnapore, High River, Turner Valley, Black Diamond, Nanton, and Okotoks districts to the south. Only family entertainment will be provided for Corral patrons. Mr. Sniderman explained today that drive-in theatres are not permitted to show restricted films. This ruling, he said, was handed down by the provincial government in its recent announcement.

"We want families as patrons," Mr. Sniderman said. "We also are planning a children's playground for the younger ones." Exempt Diplomats DAMASCUS, Syria (AP)-The Kuwait parliament has made importing liquor crime punishable by up to three years in jail, exempting only foreign diplomats. Mike W. Zahorchak, of St. Catherines, is the company president. He also is owner of Canadian Drive-In Theatre in his home town and has wide experience in the theatre business. J.

H. Solway, of Toronto, is the company vice-president. C. S. Posen, also of Toronto, is the treasurer.

Syd Sniderman, local branch manager of Astral Films, is the company's director and supervisor, while Ron Tiboni, of Brantford, is the theatre manager. All executive members of the company have been in the theatre business for many years. Mr. Zahorchak opened the first drive-in theatre in Canada, and the 'company also has several other theatres across the Dominion.
