The sea scrolls will be unfurled at Sandy Htx4 on Sept. I. as a symbolic rescue for the ocean from ocean dumping. The ocean life line will be taken to Trenton, and Wash, ington. DC.

In response to the failure of the ClintonGore Administration, USEPA and the Army Corps of Engineers to stop dumping toxin-laden muck off the Jersey Shore, a coalition of groups from throughout the state announced they will launch a seven-day march along the shore to protest the dumping. The groups chose to announce the unprecedented action at the Monmouth County Friends of Clcanwatcrs Festival, the state's largest and longest-running environmental fair on Aug. 19 and 20. "We are ready for action, it's time to do something remarkable," said Jack Charlton, Monmouth County Friends of Clearwater. The seven-day march entitled "Dump No More-March for the Shore" will begin at Cape May Point on Aug.
