R. vice- chairman of Erie-Huron County Community Action Program, outlined the program and its progress and told of future plans to combat illiteracy and give medical assistance to people in poverty Stricken areas. It was announced that fall district day was held Sunday at Norwalk Country Club.

Kondratieff and her husband. Serguey, and advertising executive, own and race sports cars, snow and water ski and bring up their daughter, Erin, and son, Eric. Mrs. Kondratieff used to be an excited spectator until her husband urged her to try racing. "I'm scared only when I'm not racing and think of the things that could happen," she said.

"But on the track it is exhilarating and you think only of catching the person in front of you." She is qualified to drive her red, orange and gold-flecked Sprite car in any Sports Car Club of America competition. Her husband drives a Formula Junior which Mrs. Kondratieff describes as "an open wheeler that looks like a big cigar." The Kondratieffs usually race once a month and spend much of their time taking the car engines apart in the garage of their home in Orinda, about 14 miles east of San Francisco. Mrs. Kondratieff has had only one accident, a minor one in a Las Vegas race.

Ronald Fantozzi, MRS. WILLIAM DOUGLAS Grubb, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Holzhauser, 1217 Buckingham St. was one of the alumni honored at a banquet at Ohio Northern University.

Carol was elected into Phi Alpha Kappa, liberal arts honorary, for her achievements in college. She is teaching French, Spanish and English at Rushsylvania High School near Bellefontaine. MARY ANN THOMAS, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Burk of Mt.

Pleasant, will be married Saturday to Myron H. Bickley son of Capt and Mrs. Myron H. Bickley, 1201 Marlboro St. A graduate of York High School, Miss Thomas was employed by the Northern Ohio Telephone Co.

After the wedding the couple will reside in Ft. Wayne, Ind. where Mr. Bickley will attend the Indiana Institute of Technology. He was recently discharged from the United States Air Force.

Aid Class Planned Rosary and Altar school and will continue for Society of St. Mary Church is sponsoring a "Self Help Medical Class." The class will begin at 7:30 p.m. Monday in the home economics room of St. Mary the next seven consecutive Mondays. The topic concerns giving aid in an emergency when no doctor is present.

Classes will be conducted by Mrs. Robert Kromer. She carried a bouquet of white mums and pompons with a blue rosary. THE BRIDE'S attendants were her four sisters: Miss Kay Miller, maid of honor; Miss Mary Miller, Miss Peggy Miller and Miss Sally Miller. The maid of Honor and Miss Sally Miller wore gold velveteen gowns.

The others appeared in blue gowns. Each was fashioned with a floor length skirt, batteau neckline and long sleeves. The attendants wore match- i velveteen bows with tiered veils and they carried bouquets of yellow and white pompons. NORBERT MISSLER attended his brother as best man. His brother, James Missler, and Richard Warner were ushers.

Following the ceremony a luncheon was served at Immaculate Conception school for the bridal party and immediate families. An afternoon reception was also held at the school. UPON THEIR RETURN from a trip to an undisclosed destination the couple will reside in Bellevue. The bride is a graduate of Bellevue High School and is employed by the Bellevue Lamp Plant. Her husband is a graduate of York High School and is employed by the Whirlpool Clyde.
