He returned to Mr. Prestwich joined the Calgary in 1918. Alberta provincial police at Macleod in 1920 and was stationed at Claresholm until 1923, when he retired.

Ha moved to Calgary in 1923. Surviving are his widow, Elizabeth, Calgary; three daughters, Mrs. I. Lothian, Mrs. J.

Kathleen Barlow Funeral services for Mrs. Kathleen H. Barlow, 428 10th Ave. N.E., 25, who died at Kelowna, Aug. 27, will be held at Jacques' funeral home Wednesday at 2 p.m.

She was born at Carstairs and after a short time in the United States moved to Calgary with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. John O. Wood. She attended Stanley Jones and Crescent Heights schools.

Oregon. Rev. Rex Brown will officiate at the services. The body will arrive in Calgary Tuesday noon. James Vanderburgh A resident of Calgary for 37 years, James Nelson Vanderburgh, 71.

1004 1st St. N.W.. died his residence Monday morning following a lengthy Illness. Mr. Vanderburgh was born in Delhi, Ontaria, and lived there until coming to Calgary.

He was a C.P.R. engineer, retiring in 1935. He was a member of First Baptist church, the Knights of Pythias, the auxiliary of Ratiway Enginemen, and Mt. Lebanon Masonic lodge. Surviving are his wife, Bertha; daughter, Mildred, and a son.

Irving. all of Calgary; and one brother. Will. Oakland, Ont. A sister, Bell, died in 1943.

Brown. 84, 1418 1-A St. N.W.. died in the General hospital Monday. He was born In Rathmines, Dublin, Ireland, coming to Manitoba 1890.

Except for ten years, when he returned to Ireland, from 1900 to 1910. he had resided in Canada. He first came to Calgary 25 years ago. Surviving are two sons in England, John and Capt. Charles Brown.

His wife died in Calgary five years ago. Funeral services will be conducted by Rev. Charles E. Reeve at Leyden's, funeral chapel at 2 p.m. Thursday.

Burial will be in Burnsland cemetery, Gladys June Casson Gladys June Casson, 18, of 234 18th Ave. died In the General hospital Tuesday morning after a long Illness. She was born in Nanton and had lived in Calgary for the past six years. Her mother, Mrs. Florence M.

Casson, died on March 18, 1931, at Nanton. She is survived by her father, Thomas E. Casson. Calgary; one sister, Mrs. Leonard Rush, Stavely: four brothers, Gnr.

Leonard with the 13th Field Regiment, R.C.A., overseas: LAC Thomas, R.C.A.F., overseas; Lloyd, Strathmore, and Norman, Calgary. Services will be held at Jacques' funeral home Thursday afternoon at 8 o'clock. Rev. C. D.
