'Honored On Birthday G. P. Henderson of McAlpin was honored on his 64th birthday with a dinner held Saturday evening at the Lake Stephens Restaurant by his wife, Mrs. Henderson. After the dinner the honoree was presented with a two-tiered cake.

NINE OF the Hendersons' 10 children attended the dinner: Mrs. Billy (Betty) Chapman of Canal Fulton, Ohio, Mr. Mrs. Herbert Henderson of Sophia, Mr. and Mrs.

Charles (Helen) Parsons of Beckley, Mr. and Mrs. Jess (Nancy) Prunesti of Sophia, Mrs. Roy (Linda) Allison of Canal Fulton, Ohio, and the following children who reside at home: Tommy, Connie, Vicky, and Kimelia Henderson. Unable to attend was a son, Larrv, of Chicago, 111.

Others attending were Mr. and Mrs. N. Williams and Mr. and Mrs.

Odejl Tester-man, all of McAlpin, and Mr. and Mrs. James Short of Sophia. ON SUNDAY afternoon Henderson was honored by his 15 grandchildren and their families with a lawn picnic at his McAlpin home. A large rose decorated birthday cake center ed the picnic table.
