Tuesday Aflovnoon, JInrcli 23, 19G5 New Slate Of Officers Presented BSP Chapter OAK HILL A slate ot now officers was presented at (lie Wednesday meeting of the Xi Alpha Theta Exemplar Chapter ot Beta Sigma Phi Sorority by Mrs. Benedict Teano, chairman of the nominating committee. The group met at the home of Mrs. James Painter on Rhodes Slrcet, Oak Hill. The officers' slate included the following: President, Mrs.

Louis Scott; vice president, Mrs. Ray Ellison; recording secretary, Mrs, Ernest Fazio; corresponding secretary, Mrs. John P. Diiiln. Treasurer, Mrs.

James Painter; extension officer, Mrs, Fred Russell; city council representative, Mrs. R. R. Thomas and alternate Mrs, W. Dixon, Jr.

Mrs. D. C. Rappy Jr. announced a the Middle Eastern Area Convention will be held in Philadelphia, April 2-4.

All members arc urged to turn In their reservations for Founder's Day Banquet to be held April 30. The program, "The Great," was given by Mrs. Lou is Scott. The next meeting will be held at the home of Mrs. Ernest Fazio on the Country Club Road.

THE RECORD of the program includes: 1957, 49 pairs of glasses and one cataract opera i 1958, 3C pairs of glasses; 1953, 53 pairs of glasses and one plastic eye; 1960, 47 pairs of glasses and one cataract operation; 19IJ1, 52 pairs of glasses; 1862, 37 pairs ot glasses and one catnmct operation; 19S3, 28 pairs of glasses; 1964, 45 pairs of glasses; and an estimated 10 pairs of glasses for 19fi5. Dr. Walter Kominsky, Oak Hill, has furnished 331 pairs of these glasses since 1953. I'rocceds of the annual minstrel, sponsored hy the Mount Hope Lions cluh, are used for the Sight Conservation Program.

A reception was held in Fellowship Hall of the church where a color scheme of pink and white was carried out.
