30 Charles J. Shepard, late or Company Bth Ohio Volunteer Infantry, Spanish-American War veteran, died In home hospital last evening at six o'clock following a month 's illhcss. He was born in Springfield Dec. 2h1 1867. He first entered the home from Cleveland Sept.

11, 1932. He enlisted In Company 6th Ohio Volunteer Infantry at Cleveland June 22, 189S, and was -lionor- ably discharged at Cleveland Nov. 6, is9S. Thorc are no known relatives. Although funeral arrangements have not been completed it Is thought that burial will take place in Home cemetery.
