Age 78 of Sunset Dr. Horseheads passed away peacefully at home sur- rounded by his family on Monday Aug. 13, 2018.

Howard was born and raised in Manhattan, NY. He is survived by his wife Carolyn Houston Miller; Son and daugh- ters, Don Miller of Horseheads, Irene Oppen- heim of Corning and Dawn (Tom) Murray of Rochester; Grandchildren; Jillian (Raul) Zamora, Jeffery Oppenheim, Ryan Murray, Charlie Miller, who affectionately renamed his grandfather and Tommy Murray; Howard was co-owner and operator of Howard in Horseheads. He was a longtime and active member of Horseheads Kiwanis and served as Trustee in the Village of Horseheads from 2000- 2008. Howard was also a veteran of the US Air Force and diehard NY Yankee Fan. Howard loved the village, the residents and nurtured many close friendships.

Above all else, Howard loved his family and the time spent with them. Family and friends are invited to call at the Barber Funeral Home 413 S. Main St. Horseheads on Thurs Aug. 16, 2018 from and pm.

A Liturgy of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Mary Our Mother Church 816 W. Broad St. Horseheads on Friday at 10:00 am with his close friend Rev. Christopher Linsler officiating.

Don was born in Elmira a son of the late Harry Sr. and Dorothy (Zuchowski) Domineske. He is sur- vived by his brothers: Harry Domineske, Jr. of Horseheads, with Phyllis Clark, and his children, H.R. (Kelly) Domineske, Kelli (Jeff) Edwards, and Amanda (Joe Clate) Domineske of Bradford NY, with wife Cathy, and their children, Tiffany (Adrian) Janniro and Eric (Samantha) Debbie Dem- ing of Dundee, with husband Mark, and their daughters, Jennifer, Jaime and Ashley; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.

Don was a grad- uate of Elmira Free Academy. He was a New York State Correctional Officer retiring after 25 years of service. He spent most of his service time at Five Points Correctional Facility in Romulus NY, where he was part of the original staff when the facility opened, and it is the facility from where he retired. An avid outdoorsman Don loved to hunt, fish and barbeque. He also had a great love of all kinds of music, from country to heavy metal, with KISS being one of his favorite groups.

Don was a huge, huge Oakland Raider fan. Family and friends are invited to McInerny Funeral Home, 502 W. Water Street, Elmira, on Friday, August 17, 2018 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. There will be a Mass of Christian Burial for Don on Saturday, August 18, 2018, 10:00 a.m., St.

Domineske Obituaries ELMIRA HEIGHTS SEAN MYKEL RUNDELL Age 26 of Elmira Heights, NY passed away on Friday August 10, 2018. Sean was born in Elmira, NY on August 7, 1992 the son of James Rundell and Monica Miles Vonder- chek. He was a graduate of Thomas Edison Hight School Class of 2010, and a graduate of Fulton Montgomery Community College Class of 2016. He was a sanitation worker for Disposal in Elmira Heights, NY. Sean loved working on his cars, lifting weights, and a true outdoorsman who loved looking for the next adventure.

He was pre-deceased by his paternal grandfather Bruce Rundell in 2014. Sean is survived by his mother and step-father: Monica and Scott Vonderchek of Elmira Heights, NY; father and step-mother: James and Carla Rundell of Horseheads, NY; maternal grandparents: Ronald and Cathy Miles; paternal grandmother: Ruth (Mrs. Bruce) Rundell; sev- eral aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of caring friends.
