Indeed, the Peacock Network laid claim to eight of the top 10 most-watched programs for the week, including the No. 1 show, "ER." The annual airing of the "Golden Globes" finished No. 5 for the week, with an average 24,340,000 viewers. The show's viewership was up 23 from a year ago, according to Nielsen. Elsewhere, ABC's "Wonderful World of Disney," with the film "Ruby Bridges," got its best turnout (16,090,000 viewers) since November (when it aired "The Santa Clause"). "Ruby" ranked No. 16 for the week. Also, the debut of ABC's new drama "Prey," at 8 p.m. on Thursday, finished No. 74 overall, and well behind its time-period competitors on CBS and NBC. Meanwhile, in the evening-news race, NBC's "Nightly News" grabbed its 12 straight weekly win and 28th out of the past 29 weeks. NBC averaged a 9.4 rating18 share, and 12,211,000 viewers. CBS' "Evening News" averaged an 8.616, with 11,859,000 viewers, and ABC's "World News Tonight" an 8.516, with 11,416,000 viewers.
