Mrs. Wilson devotional leader for Robert Hudson Chapter "Draw Water With Joy" was the topic of devotions led by Mrs.

Rex Smoot at the Robert Hudson Missionary Chapter meeting Tuesday night at the Church of the Nazarene. Her text was from Isaiah 12. Mrs. John Ekstrom conducted the question and answer period on world missions. Mrs.

Australia program Tuesday at Kiwanis meeting Jebby Phillips, who is visiting relatives in Iola, spoke on life in Australia yesterday when Kiwanis of Iola met at Menegay's Restaurant. Omer Knoll and Tony spent the past weekend in Kansas City where they visited Mr. and Mrs. Ron Bohs and exhibited in the Metcalf South Spring Art Show. Knoll was given one of the Awards of Excellence for his sculpture of a small girl. Upon arriving home, Mrs.

Knoll set up her art work at the Allen County Bank and Trust, which will be her last show in Iola. Mr. and Mrs. Stephen Moyer, Iola, are parents of a son born March 31 at Allen County Hospital. He weighed 6 pounds, 6 ounces and has been named Ryan Patrick.

The babys grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Chester Ferry of Mildred and Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Klepper of Iola.

Mrs. Henry Schuster of Iola and Mrs. Olive Moyer, Humboldt, are the greatgrandmothers. Hazel Yetzbacher returned home Monday night after attending the wedding of her niece, Patty Larson, to Harold Hadsen in Lincoln, Saturday. She and her sister, Inez Dick of Topeka, who accompanied her to Lincoln, returned to Topeka Sunday.

On Monday Mrs. Yetzbacher drove to DeSoto to pick up her sister, Retha Richardson, and on to Leavenworth for her daughter, Terese Yetzbacher, before going to Kansas City to visit another sister, Mrs. Virgil Ansell, who is a patient in St. Mary's Hospital. While at the hospital they called on Mrs.

Art Gilmore of Iola. who is also a patient. Also attending the wedding were Evelyn Peres of Iola and her daughter and granddaughter. Marge Laverty and Tonya of chanute They returned home on Sunday. Clayton Hicks is a patient in Herington Municipal Hospital.

Room 107, Herington. Kan. 66449. Creative Arts Club schedules workshop The Creative Arts Club is sponsoring a workshop April 8 and 15 featuring Kansas City artist Asterio Pascolini. Pascolini, who is originally from Italy and now works for Hallmark Cards in Kansas City, will give painting instruction to those attending the workshops.

The fee is $20 and everyone is welcome. All participants will have a finished painting at the end of the second session. The workshops begin at 9:30 a.fn. and will last most of the day. Anyone interested should send the fee to The Creative Arts Club, Box 17 or contact June Wichman or Phvllis Meredith.
