DELILAH CRISTIANI ON SINGLE TRAPEZE 40 Acts With Cristiani Show Here Next Sunday Forty acts, features and, spectacles will be presented when Cristiani Bros. Circus, America's largest big top show, makes its appearance in Sandusky on Sunday, June 12. Former Resident Accorded Honors By Camp Fire Mrs. Albert Etowski, 1256 Webb Lakewdod, the fcrmer Malvina Grathwol of Sandusky, and a graduate of St. Mary High School has received the Wakan Report Honor, second highest national award for Leader's report in the Camp Fire program.

Special awards are given in limited numbers annually to group leaders in any section of the Camp Fire program on the work their individual groups. Mrs. Etowski was presented the emblem by Mrs. Anthony Cele-' brezze at the annual meeting of the Cleveland Council of Camp Fire Girls, Inc. at the Hotel Carter.

She also received a letter of congratulations from national headquarters for varied and interesting program with good use of community resources, and year 'round program, especially, the Keep America Beautiful project: The symbolism of the award is-j for "Excellence'of Ideas and Inspiration to Girls." She is in District 1,1 and the name of her group is "To He Tin Tin," meaning Blue Belles of the Blessed Virgin. Most of the wood used to make penoils comes from southern Oregon and northern California, Headlining the show will be the faqnous Cristiani Family of bare- baHk riders, featuring Corkie and Lucio Cristiani. The troupe has been recognized by circus enthusiasts as the greatest riding family of all times. Among the aerial offerings will be the Flying Wards on the high trapeze; Billy Orwell, sensational cloud swing artist performing at the peak of the big top; and the Hollywood Aerial Ballet featuring Delilah, rated as America's greatest single trapeze star. Topping the acrobatic contingent wfll be the Great Renaults in a spectacle of bounding leaps through fiery hoops over the largest of the Cristiani elephants and the Ortans Troupe who climax their offering on the giant teeterboard with a four-high shoulder stand.

A score of clowns and a variety of trained animal presentations also are included in the program, This year the show will present as its finale, the Ben Hur spectacle, featuring chariot races, Roman riders and other thrillers on the hippodrome track. In addition to the Cristriami big top, the largest tent on tour, the show boasts a full menagerie under a second tent. The traveling zoo will. display Col. Tony Diano 's famous collection of elephants, monkeys, a rhinoceros, hippo-! potamus, reticulated giraffe and a special group of South American specimens.

Butler, Buffalo District Corps of Engineers, announced today that floating plant is engaged in core drilling operations in Sandusky Bay to continue until July 15.
