He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War He was a member of St. y's church, Wilminaton. and former member of St. Dorothy's Holy Name Society.

He was born in Duxbury but lived the greater part ol ilis life in Lowell. He was a veteran of WWII and until his illness resided at 61 Concord St. Prior to bis retire Jiient, he was, for many years, an employee of tile Cuwley Fuel Co. He was a member of tile Immaculate Coneeption Church. Mr.

Podgorni, 57, husband of Mary E. (Coin well) Podgorni of 2J Burnside died unexpectedly yesterday. Born in Lowell, he was the son of Cecilia Podgorni and the late Ignacy Podgorni. Mr. Podgormi was an electrician with the Service Stations or Chelmsford.

He attended St. Casiriiir's Polish National Catholic church and held membership in the Polish National Spojnia, lodge of the parish and nlsu Ihc Polish National home association fDom Polski). William (Mary) Malison of Beverly and Mrs. Arthur Helen) Perry Lowell; also several grandchildren, Armand A. Sawyer retired operator of construction firm Armand A. Sawyer, 58, husband of Mrs. Luciennu (Lan seigne) Sawyer, of 206 Perry died unexpectedly yesterday morning at his home.

Born in Lowell, lie was a son of the late Avila and the late Aurore (Genest) Sawyer. Prior to his retirement, he was owner and operator of the Sawyer Construction Co. He was a communicant of St. Joseph's Lithuanian church. He also was a former member of the C.M.A.C., the Lafayette Club and the Pawlucketville Social Club.

Surviving him, besides his wife, are a son, Hi chard Sawyer of New Jersey; two daughters, Mrs. Thedore (Janet) Ricci of Lynfield and Miss Paula Sawyer of Lowell; four brothers, Lionel Sawyer of Lowell, Oscar Sawyer of Dorchester, Gerard Sawyer of Washington, D.C.; and Raymond Sawyer of Lowell; four sisters, Miss Marianne Sawyer and Miss Cecils Sawyer, both of Lowell; Rev.
