Kubler, Hawkins McCluskey, vs. Ralph Henry, et al, Action. Yaquina and Jauniata Krogstad returned to their home at Portland Saturdhy morning, after spending two weeks visiting girl friends here. Lester Waugh came- over from the Valley Saturday and spent Sunday with his family. He returned to his work at Albany Monday noon.

Mr. and Mrs. Ed Thurston and Miss Grace Thurston departed Saturday morning for their home at Lents, after a short visit with E. J. Avery and family at this place.

A. B. Clark, ex editor, present dairy rancher, jumped the milking proposition Wednesday and came down from Elk City with his new launch after some building material. Mr. and Mrs.

B. F. Jones arrived over last Saturday for a visit with relatives and friends in Lincoln county. Mr. and Mrs.

Jones are now residing at Roseburg, Mr. Jones being Register of the U. S. Land Office at that place. The Toledo meat market has again changed hands.

Messrs. Paine Gorke have sold out to Johnny and Ott Nye, who took charge of the business the fii st of the week. Johnny Nye has been in the meat business here for the past several years and our people know they will be well served as they have been in the past. Messrs. Paine and Gorke have not decided what they will -do, but will on find something to engage in.

Coos Bay cities will have a weak of festivities beginning August 15th. Mayors of Oregon cities have been invited to attend the Coos Bay Car nival and it is expected a Mayors Association will be formed. There will be all kinds of water sports, races, music, clam bakes, dances and many varied forms of entertainment for all who attend. Many are expected from Willamette Valley points and Southern Oregon, while Portland will send down a large delegation to participate. Bulls For Sale.
