When the family removed to Dallas he entered the schools there attending for two and a half years. On September 1st, 1918 he became a member of the Methodist Sunday School in Dallas, and later united with the Church.

He was ever a loving son anj brother, truthful and obedient at all times. A few weeks' ago while picking cherries the limb on which he was standing gave way and he fell a distance of about 15 feet sustaining a compound fracture of his loft arm. A few days ago he was stricken with lock-jaw and on Friday night, July 15, at 12 o'clock, tho Heavenly Father, who knoweth what Is best, called him Homo. He leaves to mourn his loss a loving father and mother, two brothers, six sisters and other relatives and friends. He was 13 years, 2 months, old at his death.

Funeral services were held in the Methodist Church of Dallas, Monday the 18th, Rev. Frank James, pastor, officiating. Interment was in the Odd Fellows Cemetery. "Dear little son and brother, thou hast left U3. We thy loss most deeply foel: But Is God that has bereft us, He can all our sorrows feel." CARD OF THANKS agreed that for pleasure and sights the trip from Portland to NewDort sur passed anything they experienced on the entire trip.

AUTO RAMS HOUSE Edward Dahl went over the grade near the Al Waugh place Monday evening with his Butck Six, and rammed Into the 3lde or Mr. Waueh's house, lnriicting some damage to Mie house and bending an axle and smashing one or the fenders on tho car. lt seems that Dahl, accompanied by Vernon Johnston, was driving out the Corvallls road when he met another car on the turn. He swung out to avoid a collision and skidded off the read and down over the embankment for about thirty feet. Fortunately the car did not turn over, and no one was hurt.
