Set in an English country manor, leaping back and forth between 1809 and the, pre-sent, is a witty and stimulating play that sets the mind whirling for several days. The cast features Blair Brown, Victor Garber and Robert Sean Leonard. HOW TO SUCCEED IN BUSINESS WITHOUT REALLY TRYING.

Richard Rodgers, 228 W. 46th St Frank Loesser's brilliant 1961 musical lampooning the shenanigans of the corporate world has been given a thoroughly enjoyable revival. The direction may be but the material itself is so vital it almost doesn't matter. Tony Award winner Matthew Broderick is adorable as the young man who climbs from window washer to chairman of the board. THE HEIRESS.

At the Cort, 138 W. 48th St. This stunning revival of a 1947 adaptation of Henry James' "Washington Square" won four Tonys. Cherry Jones won Best Actress for her portrayal of a young woman whose hopes for love and life are ruined by her wealth; Frances Stemhagen won Best Featured Actress playing the heiress' aunt; Gerald Gutierrez won Best Direction and the pro-. duction itself won Best Revival.
