I Vital Statistics (Continued Pram Pace Twelre) HARRY SHUGAR, former Reading resident, died in HAYWARD, Calif, hews of bis death being received by his relatives here.

Mr. Shugar left Reading many years ago to enlist in the U. S. navy. After serving in navy for 20 years, he was retired as a master electrician, and settled near San Francisco.

Word of his death, which occurred as the result of an automobile accident in December, 1930, reached Reading only yesterday, after relatives had for several years been unsuccessful in attempts to locate him. He is survived by a sister, Mrs. C. J. Foltz, Wernersville, R.

D. 1, and a brother, Leroy Shugar, Shillington. GEORGE W. MILLER, 74, Of 1627 N. Tenth st night watchman at the Reading Trust company, died yesterday.

He was a member of Alsace Lutheran church, and the P. O. S. of A. Surviving are his widow, Estella (Gable) Miller, two daughters, Mrs.

Frederick Siebert, Newark, and Mrs. Carol Seaman, New York city, and these brothers and sisters: Wilson, Philadelphia; Solon and Harvey, Reading; Calvin, Lees port, and Mrs. Sadie Rothenberger, Leesport. Services will be held in the parlors of Undertaker Seidel, Monday at 2:30 p. with interment in Charles Evans cemetery.

Earl, Pottstown; two grandchildren, E. Bernice and Janice M. Himmelberger; a sister, Sarah, wife of Frank J. Kelley, Reading: brothers, Milton Harrisburg; Samuel Reading; John It, Milwaukee, Wis. Her husband died February 10, 1928.

She was "a daughter of the late Edmund and Mary (Reed) Fisher and a native of Myerstown. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and of Stouchsburg Lutheran church. Funeral services Thursday at 2 p. m. from the home.

Interment in Mt. Zion cemetery, in charge of Funeral Directors H. R. Houck Son. WILLIAM J.

FOCHT, 60, of SCHUYLKILL HAVEN, died in the Good Samaritan hospital following an operation. He was a son of the late John and Catherine (Deibert) Focht and was employed as packer in the shipping department of Meck's mill. Surviving are his wife, Anna (Brown); two sisters, Mrs. Fred Horning and Mrs. Edward De wald, Schuylkill Haven.

Funeral services Friday at 2 p. m. at the D. M. Bittle funeral home, the Rev.

Dr. C. Hunt officiating. Interment in 'Jerusalem cemetery. Viewing Thursday evening.

CHARLOTTE (Taylor) FILBERT, 55, wife of Postmaster Leavy S. Filbert, of WOMELSDORF, died at St. Joseph's hospital. She was born in Stoystown, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs.

Frank Taylor. Besides the husband there survive these brothers and sisters: J. Milton Taylor, Wil merding. R. Bonner Taylor, Tkewcod, N.

Mrs. Jennie Hyatt, Cleveland; Mrs. Daryl Taylor Leonard, Meadville, Mrs. Mark Ber ger, Pittsburgh, and Mrs. IvI.

M. Ireland, Baltimore. Mrs. Filbert was a member of Zion Lutheran church, Womelsdorf; Conrad Weiser chapter, Order of Eastern Star, and Womelsdorf Woman's club. Funeral Saturday at 2 p.

and Mrs. John Stein, and a member of St. Paul's Lutheran church of Summer Hill. She is survived by her husband, five children: James, Ralph Mabel, wife of John Kinsey; Sarah, wife of Walter Straub, and Eva. wife of Howard Seltzer, all of Schuylkill Haven.
