This was an all days meeting and a covered dish luncheon was served at noon. The lesson was on candle-wicking and remodeling clothing. Several of the ladies made the can-dlewick pillow tops. Nine members present and one associate. The project lessOn on Selection Of sick room and care of the sick was given by Mrs.

A. E. Nicholas, assisted by Home Demonstration Agent Mrs. Maud Gaston. Mrs.

Gaston also demonstrated a lesson on landscaping. Our next meeting will be with Mrs. Albert Demeritt on April 1. The project lesson for this meeting will be on Nutrition. Mrs.

George A. Andruss, Reporter. Moran Unit. The Moran farm bureau unit met at the Victoria hotel with Mrs. M.

C. Wheeler, March 1st. Fourteen members of the Osage unit were present as guests of the Moran unit. Lesson one Home Nursing (Selection of sick room, bed making, and care of the sick), was presented by the leaders, Mrs. E.

H. Bartlett and Mrs. Carl Snodgrass. Following program was enjoyed by all: Musical number, duet by Betty Manning and Betty Jo Mendell; reading by Jean Gilliam. Refreshments were served to 24 members, 22 visitors and five children.

Two of the visitors became members of the Moran unit. The next meeting will be March 15 with Mrs. L. O. Smith.

Everett Reade of Iola spent Friday night with his parents Mr. and Mrs. Joe Reade and. helped his father celebrate his 79th birthday. Mrs.

Charley Gerdsen was an afternoon visitor. Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Houk and family spent Sunday at the Joe Reade home. Mrs.

Houk and her mother called at the Howard Hardy home east of Bayard to see Mrs. Mrs. Anna Hardy who has been ill with pneumonia. Beulah. Arthur and Everett Myers spent Sunday with their sister Mrs.

Harry Morrison and Mr. Morrison. Orval and- Carol Bess Morrison are absent from school today with the three-day measles. Mr. and Mrs.

Earl Hesseltine spent Sunday at the parental Lutz home in Gas City. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Myers and family spent Sunday evening at. the parental Will Myers home.

Orval and Carrol Morrison spent Sunday with their uncle and aunt Mr. and Mrs. Perl Baker and Lois. Mr. and Mrs.

Frank Myers and family will soon move to their new home on the Lutz farm in Fairlawn district. Max Morrison vsited from Saturday afternoon until Sunday morning with his oousin Orval Morrtson. Mrs. Leo Smart visited Wednesday afternoon with Mrs. Ed.
